The Xus, a couple of Chinese Triad bosses who show up in Shadow Wave to buy weapons from the Fuhrer and get arrested alongside him. James Adams himself is a very flawed human being, with a violent temper, repeatedly cheats on his girlfriends, has sexist and minor homophobic tendencies (at least at the beginning), and loves getting into trouble with the law (with indications that, if it weren't for CHERUB, he'd be spending a lot of life behind bars), but he (usually) has good intentions at heart, and he's often up against guys who kill and/or torture people without remorse.

An investigation into the Keith Moore in Class A was derailed because so many of the cops were accused of being on Keith's payroll. How many were actually guilty is unclear, since Keith apparently spreads corruption rumours to obstruct the police. Junior being an absolute mess is a harsh reminder that James could of ended up this way without CHERUB in his life. The conversation between Bruce and James regarding it really shows the boys are growing up. Junior getting sent down by his old pal James is a tough one. James says Juniors more than just someone on a mission and doesn't want to grass him in. His morality is really put to the test and I wonder if this is highlighted in a mission report ? Ordinary High-School Student: CHERUB agents pretend to be these while on missions, and in most ways are much like any other teenagers. For the last few days of basic training, James and the other five trainees were taken to Malaysia for a survival course, which James and Kerry succeeded in before being awarded their Grey Shirts. Returning to CHERUB Campus, James learned that Lauren had been recruited into CHERUB after Ron had been arrested for smuggling. For the next few months, James adjusted to CHERUB lifestyle, hanging out with Kyle, Kerry, Bruce and others he had become friends with in basic training, Shakeel Dajani, Mo, Gabrielle O'Brien, and Callum and Connor Reilly, however, no mission was offered to him. Amy revealed that she had asked that James not be offered any while he continued his swimming lessons, and that he was to accompany her on a mission in which he could easily play her little brother due to their similar appearances.Ocr tesseract 4.1.1 Ocr_detected_lang en Ocr_detected_lang_conf 1.0000 Ocr_detected_script Latin Ocr_module_version 0.0.5 Ocr_parameters -l eng Openlibrary OL9649426M Openlibrary_edition Children Forced to Kill: In Class A, James shoots and accidentally kills a gang member in self defense, and is later shown to need counselling, and in Divine Madness, Dana is forced to help with the murder of two (adult) Intelligence agents. There are also several near misses over the course of the series. John Jones: "Pretty brave attempting The Lord of the Rings. Never managed to plough through it all myself." I really enjoy getting to see Kyle and Lauren working together on a cunning scheme to take down Large. Its Kyle last dodgy scheme and I got quite emotional reading about him leaving. Lauren finally gets a deserving punishment where we might see her mature a bit more and move on from lording her status. Robert Muchamore – CHERUB: Lone Wolf". Hachette Children's Books. The Runts are a gang consisting of teenage hoodlums trying to make a name for themselves. They're violent and actually a real threat, but are small fish against the hardened criminals they're mixing themselves up with, and are too dumb to realize they're being used as unwitting cannon fodder by another more experienced gang. Come on,’ Kazakov said, showering James with spit. ‘You’re useless; you’re supposed to be helping out with the little ones.’ The mission takes place in a rundown estate (Thornton) where a notorious drug dealer grew up. On the first day of school, James befriends Keith (Junior) Moore, the second-eldest son of Keith Moore.

School Is for Losers: James and any number of other teenage characters have this attitude, though in James's case it is somewhat modified in that he actually enjoys and does well at math, physics and Russian. He is just bad and lazy when it comes to anything involving lots of reading and writing. In spite of his attitude, he ends the series with an improbable number of really high A-levels.
