I wasn't quite sure what I was expecting with these straws... would they have powder that you tipped into milk? If it stayed in the straw how did that work? Were the straws themselves flavoured? After some examination of the straw I was able to see how it was constructed and the principles behind it, and admit to being quite impressed... both with the straws themselves, and the resulting drink! (Yes, I pinched one of his straws to 'test' for myself. )

Answer: Flavored syrups are 100% not healthy. They're loaded with sugar and preservatives (thus negating the health benefits of drinking milk in the first place!). Also, if you require a gluten-free diet or are lactose intolerant, flavored syrups are not an option.
