Description

The SA 77 is a choice that is perfect for toddlers and beginners. It’s an extremely light-weight, and portable option that comes with a low price tag.

It’s important to note that the SA 77 is also included in our roundup for the best keyboards for kids. Even if you decide to take a bit of a break from learning how to play the piano/keyboard, which you never should do, having this little keyboard will not break your bank. Collection and delivery costs are included for the first 2 years in the event of an item becoming faulty However, the Gear4music extended warranty scheme provides an enhanced service, and is designed to offer a higher level of protection than many 'free' warranties offered by some retailers and manufacturers. As for the weight, we’ve got to say that this might be the lightest we’ve ever seen at less than 4 pounds. So, get ready, this piano will be getting an automatic plus one for every road trip you have planned. A large button in the middle of the keyboard is used to be able to toggle between piano and organ tones easily. Get ready for 44 keys and 100 different tones that are extremely easy for your child to navigate through. Make an impressive sound and have fun getting there. With an 8-note polyphony, up to 8 notes can be played at once, so you'll create a rich texture of tones. You'll be able to project this full sound out as the Casio SA 76 mini keyboard is carefully designed with built-in speakers. Equipped with 100 tones and 50 rhythms, you can explore a range of sounds and musical styles. With a simple and straightforward design, the SA 76 mini keyboard is fun and easy to use.

Now, get this straight, we can’t call the Casio SS-76 an entry-level keyboard. Because, as we said earlier, it is not. Casio made this keyboard for a specific demography – kids! And in fact, not every kid can use this. Our nominated carrier is Parcel Force. Deliveries are made Monday – Friday between 9.00am – 6.00pm (excluding Bank Holidays).

Please note that this extended warranty is currently only available on products sold within the UK, EU or EEA, and is subject to the terms and conditions as detailed on the extended warranty certificate provided. And then, in between the speakers, you’ll find the control interface which is also quite kid-friendly. Despite, the mini size of this keyboard, Casio has found a way to fix in a lot of buttons and knobs on the control panel. The sound department on this keyboard is similar to the Casio CT-X700. To me, this is a good thing. I have been raving about the sounds that Casio has been able to achieve on such small budget items. Of course, this isn’t supported by any of Casio’s world famous sound technologies like the Acoustic and Intelligent Resonator (AiR) or the Linear Morphing AiF system. But then again, you should totally expect that. This isn’t exactly one of Casio’s higher end keyboards, so that’s fine. If you need a present for a child wanting to learn how to play the piano, this keyboard is a perfect option for any kid at any age and level of piano knowledge.

Directly above the keys you will find 5 drum buttons that allow you to play the drums. The sounds themselves aren’t terrible, but they’re nothing to write home about. These buttons are nice because it allows toddlers to hit them and instantly hear some sounds that they find pleasing. PolyphonyThis is a huge feature as some keyboards are just plain difficult for kids to navigate through all of the sounds. Casio used a super simple LCD screen that has increased in size on the SA 77 and this makes it a breeze. Key Features

But we’ve got to put in a caveat here. There’s no piano tutor on the planet that will teach your kid with a 44-key piano. A 61-key, some might try. But ultimately, they will tell you, and it’s the truth, that an 88-key keyboard is best even for starters. Anyone who knows instruments has seen Casio products displayed proudly across the floor of the music shop. The Casio SA-76 is a jolly good instrument, no doubt. However, it does not deliver even half the features and functions the beginner needs to begin his musical journey. If you go loud, people will appreciate the clean, vintage sound the keyboard emits. As long as you practice well and play those songs smoothly. The Casio SA-76 comes with a max polyphony of 8 notes. We must confess that we hitherto didn’t that a digital piano could come with a polyphony of 8 notes. But here we are with the Casio SA-76 – 8 count polyphony. For starters, this mini keyboard is obviously smaller than other keyboards, but with 44 mini-sized keys and the features, options, and functionality, this makes it the ultimate portable keyboard. Because of this, you get a product that may not blow you away sonically, but rather grab your kids attention and rope them in to a user-friendly experience.
