How you use the M3 is entirely up to you. It does support everything from smartphones to action cameras, and from compact cameras to full-frame mirrorless cameras (with certain lenses), so you have many options when it comes to your shoot. It also makes the M3 a great all-rounder, smoothing out the jitters on (virtually) any device you throw at it. For smartphones, an adjustable mount is included that can accommodate phones up to the size of an iPhone 13 Pro Max. That's a big phone. It also benefits from a built-in light capable of 800-lumen output, which is perfect for those moments where you need just a little more light and don't want to add extra weight by using an external LED panel. You can turn it on by holding down the wheel on the side and then change the brightness by rolling it up or down. The M 3S boasts a small built-in bi-color fill-light no bigger than a fingernail. Powered by ZHIYUN’s own Lumen Amplifier technology, the modular light enables stepless/temperature adjustment and is claimed to emit up to 1,000 lux brightness. It is Kelvin color temperature adjustable between 2,700K-5,500K. Also familiar to us is the Zhiyun iOS and Android app, which enables additional control of the gimbal as well as offering templated creative options. We're not exactly power users of the app, but it's always there if you want or need it (e.g. firmware updates to the gimbal are done via the app). If you can find the right combination, the Crane M3 is a mini marvel. It supports a broad range of shooting options and helps capture excellent, professional, stable footage. The WEEBILL-3S retains many of the important features of its predecessor, the WEEBILL-3, including long battery life, the same heavy payload, multiple accessory mounting options, wired camera control, and PD fast charging. The fact we couldn't get it to balance as instructed without the rubber viewfinder hitting the gimbal put it down a peg or two.Control method: In addition to the Type-C wired control supported by Crane M3S, Crane M3S adds Bluetooth Shutter function. In The Box Crane M3S Standard

You can be your whole team. Get multiple selected accessories from ZHIYUN for convenient carrying and professional operation. The expansion base for the gimbal (included with the Pro Kit option) has a receiver built-in, which can be paired with the transmitter module for wireless control of cameras via Bluetooth where supported, e.g. to trigger your camera's shutter button. The Bluetooth shutter control on the WEEBILL 3S allows you to wirelessly connect to most mainstream camera models and activate start/stop recording or trigger photo-taking. In terms of battery life, the M3S has slightly less battery life compared to the M3. The M3 had 8 hours of battery run time and the M3S has about 7.5 hours. In my opinion, this is not a huge difference as all the other upgrades make up for this slight reduction in battery life. Like the M3, this also takes about 2 hours to charge using PD fast charge. Fill Light Fill light: Crane M3S has an embedded fill light, which, benefiting from Lumen Amplifier technology, achieves a maximum brightness of 1000 lux with a color temperature range of 2700k-5500k on top of Crane M3's highest 800 lux.
