The two are seen together frequently, showcasing their good friendship. Skyler is an anglicized version of the name "Schuyler", it was presumably chosen for the "sky" within the name.

Her and Jade have had a complicated relationship, since Jade and Violet always seem to be on opposing ends of arguments, especially when Bella is involved. They seem to make up afterwards so it can be assumed they are on more friendlier terms. Jade co-starred with River as his romantic interest in Holly and Laurel's play “A Winter Tale of Two Super Beautiful Enchantresses”.
