I think a cute canopy looks stunning in a bedroom, especially for toddlers or older children to curl up in for hiding, make believe and reading stories. I love the Mrs Mighetto prints and this one from The Modern Nursery has little touches of ochre in that would tie in beautifully with this scheme. Personally I love this look with lots of wood for the furniture, especially a darker wood like mango. It brings in those natural textures which I think soften it slightly. Obviously I still have a love affair with wallpaper so there has to be a few mentions here. This star paper from Cole & Son is pricey but one wall would look just as stunning or my favourite Ferm Living wallpaper is this mustard trees design. So gorgeous.
