At sunset time, I recommend you go to one of the viewpoints on the Duero river to enjoy the spectacular scenery. A great character designer asks questions and knows how to transform information into a clear design. The Silver Way has different stages that run through the west of the Iberian Peninsula, passing through various cities and towns along its entire length. P.S: Also, keep in mind the 10 spots we have indicated in the map above. 38 Stages: Silver Way + Camino Francés Take advantage of its famous Roman Theater and Amphitheater, the Circus, the Temple of Diana, the Aqueduct, the Arch of Trajan, and the National Museum of Roman Art.

Salamanca is one of the most essential stops on the Silver route. Salamanca is a city of great beauty that has played a significant role in the history of our country. But The Silver Way is on a whole other level. It’s a must-own for any serious character artist, vis dev artist, animator, comic artist… pretty much anyone working(or hoping to work) in entertainment art. Photo credit to Concept Art EmpireStephen Silver, if you don't know, is an experienced artists, a veteran, who has been working in the art and animation industry for years. His forte is the ability to create interesting and varied characters. I've actually featured his first artbook The Art of Silver in 2009 and now he's even better. What is this character’s history? What’s their story? How would that affect the character’s design? Their clothes, their posture, their behavior? Photo credit to Concept Art Empire The information on housing, people, culture, employment and education that is displayed about Silver Way, Bury St. Edmunds, IP32 7BZ is based on the last census performed in the UK in 2021. This beautiful town contains several monuments declared of Cultural Interest, such as its Roman road, the bridge, and the Ducal Palace.

What is ultimately important to understand is that being a professional character designer requires good ideas, the ability to draw in many styles, and a solid sense of draftsmanship. It is the longest route in the Peninsula if we consider that you can join one of the roads leading to Santiago de Compostela at one point of the course. This would make the way reach almost a total of 1,000 km (from Seville to Santiago de Compostela).

León is a city full of corners that hide years of history, among which monuments such as the impressive Gothic Cathedral of “Santa María de León” stand out with its beautiful stained glass windows. Yeah! So from there I’m drawing drawing drawing, but then through my life, I was always guiding people, I was always helping people naturally – it was just part of who I was. People would always say to me, ‘Hey, you should be a teacher,’ or ‘Thanks so much for your advice,’ or ‘Wow this really helped me,’ and all these little things along the journey kept sort of going in that direction. No matter what your skill level you should walk away with at least one new piece of knowledge or technique from this book. Along the Silver Way runs the route that followed the historic Roman road that connected Mérida with Astorga. Seville can be the beginning or the end of your tour, depending if you decide to do it from south to north or vice versa.

The exercises in this book are extremely practical for everyone and they apply to more than just human characters. Just that with enough drive, with enough desire, with enough dedication to this craft, if this is something you want to do, it’s possible. And yeah, it’s difficult, but like I say to a lot of students, just because it’s difficult doesn’t make it impossible, and you’ve just got to decide that this is what you want to do. What I want people to walk away with is the ability to break down character design, understand the process of character design, understand the production pipeline, and just really have fun with this. Hey, it takes time, it takes effort, it takes work – there’s no magic pixie dust! People think that ‘Oh, if I just watch this one video or just have the secret formula…’ and I want to explain through the book that ‘No, listen, you’ve got to put in the time, you’ve got to put in the practice, you’ve got to practice the foundation, and the foundation will eventually lead to what it is you want to do.’ You will fall in love with this city as soon as you stroll along its famous beach of San Lorenzo, where I also recommend you take a dip and take a picture with its colorful huts. For Scotland, 2011 data is shown (update coming soon, the Scottish census was delayed by a year unlike the rest of the UK). My main goal was just education, first. I’ve been teaching for many years now, since 1997 (I think!). I’ve done several of my own published books, but they’ve always been books on just showing my art, and people have always asked me, ‘Hey, when are you going to put out a How To book?’ I knew it would be a big task, but I always had the intention that someday I was going to put together a How To book, and just explain character design in a simple way.

I started working in the industry in 1997, working for Warner Bros, and I moved to LA from San Diego, and I was taking some side classes to improve upon my skill. One of my teachers said ‘I don’t know that I can even help you! It’s cool that you’re in here, but you should think about being one of the teachers in my class.’ He said ‘It would make you a better artist, because now you have to break down your theory and your process,’ and I thought ‘Yeah, that would be cool – now I have to explain what’s going on in my head.’ And I remember teaching a class, and it was crazy – lightning bolts went off, and there was just this energy in there, this thing that was happening. I remember driving home and calling my wife and I said, ‘I know what I need to do in this life’. The Silver Way is characterized by being very well signposted. You will find the famous yellow arrows without any problem, so it will be easy to find the way. The chances of getting lost or detouring are very low.
