The Animal is more efficient at cleaning low-pile carpets, but performs poorly on higher pile carpets. The Animal has a larger garbage bin, which holds 0.55 liters of dirt. It also features a better ergonomic design and wider cleaning path. The V7 Motorhead has a direct drive cleaner head that can turn a fair bit. It can get under furniture and other hard-to-reach places. For example, homes with hard floors will benefit from the V7 Fluffy since the Soft Roller attachment works best on this type of surface. While there are many differences between the two models, both offer similar functions. If you have bare floors, the Animal is the clear winner. It has the highest suction power, a large bin, and extra tools to clean crevices. The animal is better suited to carpeted floors. The motorhead is better for harder surfaces, but it is more expensive. The animal is a great option for pets and those with bare floors.

Crevice tool– This is a tool that comes in handy when cleaning the tight spaces between sofas, between car seats and other hard to reach areas. However, the V7 had better results with surface cleaning on carpets. It’s one of the most surprising findings from the experiments I did. I’m not sure if it’s a fluke, but just sharing the results of the experiments. 5 Reasons to choose the Dyson V8 Absolute

Cleaning performance comparison of the Dyson V7 vs. V8

The SV10 is more powerful than the V8, but is not as compact. It features two tier radial cyclones that push air through fifteen small conical chutes. The air created by this combination of air produces centrifugal force that helps the motor to clean up smaller particles. Its motor rotates at an impressive 110,000 rpm. The V8 motorhead is available in yellow and iron, and the hand-held model is designed to be sleek and attractive. Dyson v8 absolute While the V7 only has a single LED indicator, so it’s impossible to gauge how much battery life is remaining. Dyson V7 vs. V8 Power/Airflow Comparison One surprise from the testswas the V7 MotorHead outdoing the V8 Absolute, at least with surface debris. Using soft fibers and carbon bristles on a rotating bar, the Soft Roller is designed to glide directly over floors, and this means that if you have larger debris (like kitchen spills) that need cleaning up, they’re not scattered willy nilly. And, depending on which V8 model you opt for, you also get a low-reach adaptor that you can fit onto the end of the telescopic tube to get under couches and low tables (as pictured in the image above). The Animal and V7 do not feature a HEPA filter, though the Motorhead is a good option for stair cleaning. Compared to the Animal and Fluffy, the Motorhead is less powerful. But both models have a mini motorized tool for stairs. The Animal has a lightweight design, while the Motorhead is best suited for cleaning rooms and stairs. These two vacuum cleaners are best used with a dust-free environment.

On paper, the Dyson V8 seems to be a better product than the V7. It has more suction, a larger battery, and more tools. The Absolute version can clean hard floors and carpet as it has the Fluffy and Direct Drive attachments.

The Dyson V8 Animal is the only Dyson V8 in production, after the discontinuation of the Absolute and Motorhead models. Suction power– The motor is also the same for the Animal, Absolute, and Motorhead, but the Animal+ has a less powerful motor, and hence lesser suction. All the Dyson V8 variants come with a direct-drive cleaning head making them ideal for vacuuming carpets and embedded dirt. It pushes the stiff nylon bristles into the carpet pile, flushing out the hidden dirt, and dust particles. The Dyson V8 motorhead vacuum cleaner has many accessories to clean your home. This vacuum is designed to clean both hard and soft floors. The patented direct-drive cleaning head can plough through debris in your home. This device has a wide range of cleaning attachments and is available in two models. The animal and motorhead are similar in price and performance. Both machines are lightweight and can clean your floors thoroughly. The Dyson V8 was once Dyson’s flagship option, chosen as the “best” cordless vacuum in numerous publications. This Dyson cordless was the first to have a hygienic system and was a considerable upgrade over the V6’s trap door design.

From all the V8 vacuums, only the Dyson V8 Animal+ has a different bin capacity. This one is smaller at 0.4 L, but then, the hygienic bin emptying system is standard across all the models. Mini soft dusting brush– This specialty brush has soft bristles that makes it ideal for cleaning the soft surfaces like car interior, leather sofas, lampshades, e.t.c. Filtration– Even though the dust cup capacity varies from one model to the other, the filtration system is the same across all boards. When the battery has drained, the motor just switches off, with no reduction in suction prior to that, so you get consistent power and performance for the full 40 minutes. Mini motorized tool– This is a compact version of the direct-drive cleaning head and comes in handy when agitating the embedded dirt on fragile surfaces, for example, the car interior, upholstery, and fixtures among others.

More airflow: One of the surprises is the V7 having more airflow than the V8, at least in the max setting using the primary cleaning nozzle. This model comes with the least accessories – direct-drive cleaner head, combination tool, and the crevice tool.

The first difference when it comes to design is the size. As you’ll see in the photo above, the V8 is slightly bigger. When it comes to filtration, the vacuums have been designed with two washable HEPA filters– a pre-motor filter in the middle of the cyclonic system, and a post-motor filter behind the motor. While these filters ensure that air is free from dust, bad odor, and allergens, they enhance the durability and efficiency of the motor. Unlike other models, this one doesn’t clog at all. Cleaning test results Inside smaller homes with lots of carpets, the V7 is ideal. It won’t clean embedded stuff as well as the V8, but it’s less straining on the arm. Maintenance comparisonSome of the dirt we used include pet hair, kitty litter, fine dust, flour, sand pebbles, and cereals. Both vacuums score high marks with ergonomics. I like how the primary floor nozzles of each model are capable of sharp turns and avoiding furniture. The compact design helps immensely in cramped spaces. Every single Dyson product has a design aesthetic that’s very appealing, and the same philosophy applies to the V8 as well. We noticed that at first, you have to grip the handle trigger too hard, and this hurts a little, but upon a bit of relaxation, you can reduce the stress. There’s also an easy to use switch for selecting the power mode – either high or low.
