Description

Fabric Paints - Perfect for craft projects, furniture, textiles, and customizing your wardrobe, one fun and colorful design at a time The 4-ounce bottle of fabric paint is available in more than two dozen colors, and like other Tulip paints, it’s a non-toxic water-based formula. You can choose to either brush it on, use a sponge applicator, or pair it with a stamp or stencil for neat designs.

Most projects you create will warrant using strong colors with a good pigmentation and vibrancy, so stronger paints will probably be more to your liking. Permanent Paints - Won’t wash off after repeated washes; paints are designed to permanently stain your fabrics

On a Budget with Money and Time

Tap bottle firmly, tip downward, on hard surface. Flush out bottle by squeezing out a small amount of paint, and wiping tip clean.

How do I remove paint from fabric? If it’s still not completely dry, gently dab the fabric and try to remove as much paint as possible. Avoid rubbing it otherwise you’ll be pushing the paint further into the fabric fibres. Next, you can use a generous application of isopropyl alcohol to completely saturate the area that has the paint you want to remove. Finally, wash the fabric either by hand or in the washing machine. The machine action should remove the rest of the paint. If the paint has dried onto your fabric, this process may be more difficult or impossible as fabric paints are permanent once they’re dried. If you don’t want your paint to feel flat, you can add texture with NicPro 3D’s fabric puffy paint, which can add depth to your fabric project. Professional Work and Large PaintingsOur (traditional) Fabric Paint is similar to acrylic paint, only of course it is formulated specifically to work with a wide range of fabric surfaces. Our Fabric Paint Set of 24 includes all the colors you need to paint any and everything — for a more concise selection, see our Fabric Paints Set of 14. If you’re looking for a specific shade, grab any single color you need through our Single Color Fabric Paint Bottles, available in 1 fl oz and 2 fl oz sizes. To add a mesmerizing shimmery effect to your garments, add our Metallic Fabric Paint Set of 14 to your collection. There are different varieties of fabric paint, and each type may benefit your project needs in a different way. The most common would have to be fabric markers and liquid paints, but there are a few other options as well. Fabric Markers

Keep in mind that this is a textile medium only—you must mix it with acrylic fabric paint. The bottle contains the recommended ratio of paint to medium, and you may need multiple bottles of medium (and paint), depending on the size of the piece you’re painting. The last type of fabric paint are dyes. Dyes will soak into the fabric to change the color, rather than just sit on top of the fabric. They are typically used to color the entire piece of fabric or for tie-dye designs, and don’t work as well on colored fabric or for fine design details. Forms of Fabric Paint and Application Liquid paints can be messier, but can cover a large area better and show up well on practically any color of fabric. You can still use liquid paints with a small paintbrush for fine details as well. Fabric Spray Paint Bring your simplistic garments to life by adding unique designs on them with our premium 3D Fabric Paint Set of 60. Our fabric paints are permanent to ensure they won’t wash off in a few months’ time. Our 3D Fabric Paint Set of 60 features all the classic must-have shades as well as rare glitter and metallic colors. Our textile paints are perfect for countless DIY and arts and craft projects. Like other paints, fabric paints will vary in their finish. A paint's finish refers to how the paint looks when it is dry. This could be matte, glossy, metallic, or pearl. Consider the look you are going for with your garment or furniture piece and choose a finish correspondingly.

Beginner on a Budget

Whether you’re adding some flair to your jeans or adding a logo to your sweatshirts, our permanent 3D fabric paints are fit for the job! Our fabric paints come in easy to squeeze bottles that disperse the desired amount every time. These flexible textile paints are AP-certified non-toxic and conform to ASTM D-4236 standards making them safe for artists.

We love brands that have colors that stand out, and quality paint that allows for mixing the exact shade or tint that we desire. All of the paints we’ve reviewed are amazing; however, our top three will stand as NicPro, Mont Marte, and Individuall. Whether you are a beginner, a professional, or on a budget, you can feel safe that these brands will make your project shine.

Our Top Picks

Mixability is also an important trait, as there will most likely not be one set that has every exact color you need. This will allow you the option to get the perfect shade for your needs without having to break the bank buying several different sets.
