Due to the non-UV resistant nature of its outersheath, Twin & Earth cable is not suitable for outdoor use. Twin and Earth cable is a general fixed wiring and lighting cable, containing three conductors. As the name suggests, there is a pair or Twin current carrying conductors, both individually insulated, and one bare conductor which is the central protective circuit (CPC) or Earth. We supply Twin & Earth cable with PVC outer sheathing (6241Y, 6242Y, 6423Y and 6244Y) and LSZH sheathing (6241B, 6242B, 6243B, 6244B) - the last of the four digits in the designation relating to the number of cores in the cable.
