Like the other Armaf colognes I’ve tested, performance here is excellent at 5 -6 hours of scent. It doesn’t last as long as beasts Club de Nuit Man Intense, but it is inexpensive. Then, you enter an oceanic and marine-inspired dry down with a musky base, with ambroxan and woodsy notes that linger on for 6-7 hours And if Creed doesn’t either upgrade Millesime Imperial or lower the price soon, I’m convinced everybody will turn to Armaf Milestone, sooner or later. Creed Original Santal is a creamy, sweet, and woody fragrance. It works absolutely amazing in transitional seasons like spring and fall. Those seasons are perfect for woody, sweet mixes. Creed Original Santal is a great one for those times, as well as for clubbing or parties. The sweet, cinnamon-like scent is perfect for crowded areas!

The dry down has that familiar, woodsy feel emerging from the base of cedar and vetiver. The amber note does exactly what it should, mellowing out and brightening up some of the harsher masculine woods.

Creed Erolfa is a pretty underrated Creed fragrance, especially when compared to the likes of Creed Aventus. However, Creed Erolfa is an amazing summer fragrance. It’s a shame it is so overshadowed. The scent is fruity and oceanic, with a noticeable melon scent, making it a perfect tropical fragrance for the summer!

The musk and bergamot round out any sharpness for a powdery effect that makes Club de Nuit Intense Man smell way more expensive than it is.

Creed Virgin Island Water is a tropical fragrance, inspired by the adventures through the Carribean. The fragrance itself smells like that, like a creamy, sweet, tropical scent. Exactly what you would want to wear on the warm days. Creed Millesime Imperial is a fruity and salty fragrance. The fruity sweetness mixed in with the sea salt creates a very pleasant scent that isn’t overpowering in any way. Therefore, this fragrance can work in almost any situation. This makes it a great fragrance to own.

Pride of Armaf is very similar to Armaf Ventana, but slightly sweeter from the lemon and bergamot in the opening. Beautiful green tea accords in the heart add a streak of vitality and natural earthiness to the blend.

You get the iconic, in-your-face ambroxan blast straight away in the opening. Within half an hour, it subsides to make space for a warmer mid-section with floral freshness from lavender and geranium. As such, make sure you only use 2-3 sprays if you’re going to be in an enclosed space like the office or public transport. Otherwise, you might risk offending those near you. The way to get expensive fragrances for a cheaper price is to buy decants of them. These are smaller bottles filled with the original fragrance. However, the price will be a lot lower than the retail price. That’s why I always recommend getting decants of expensive fragrances. It’s very reminiscent of Creed’s Millesime Imperial – about 90% similar – but with twice the longevity. You get a decent scent bubble for the first few hours, while the Creed original is notoriously light in terms of projection.
