The Hairy Bikers' Great Curries: The One-Stop Cookbook for the Best Curries, Rice, Bread and Chutneys You've Ever Tasted My interest in learning and trying new recipes has spiked since the beginning of this year and I do think this has something to do with my son’s baby-led weaning journey. I want him to reflect on his childhood in years to come and have good memories about the meals I cooked. There are eight chapters, from Breakfast and Brunch (full English shakshuka, anyone?) and Stovetop Suppers (cod and chorizo, and coq au vin cobbler), to Puddings and Cakes (starring chocolate brownies and spiced baked plums).Cooking is an important life skill and sets you up for life, encouraging good eating habits and lifestyle. I think home cooking is something at risk of being lost in future generations because of the rise of takeaway culture and a faster pace of life, so I’m keen to ensure this doesn’t happen in my home.
