I admire him for being family-focused but it makes him seem even more distant, using a helicopter to leave the island and keeping his kids from much of his jungle life. I have found this book far more inspirational than I might have imagined I and I’d like to encourage others to read or hear it. I did appreciate how he takes time to be with his family as an utmost priority, as well as acknowledging those who helped him on his journey – the sign of a big heart indeed.
