During their stay many students will also take the opportunity to go a way for a weekend to see and experience some of the beauty spots of Uganda. Nursing students work under the supervision of the ward in–charge (Matron) and their elective programme is coordinated by the Deputy Principal Nursing Officer. Physiotherapy students are based in the Rehabilitation Department and provide intervention to patients referred from all clinical areas of the hospital as well as the opportunity to see the work the community.
