At Hong Kong Disneyland it seems that as the park reopened, a few characters got an upgrade while the park was closed. DISNEY-ME (@LeDisneyMoi) tweeted: It should be noted, however, that the new Hong Kong Disneyland version of Bo Peep does look quite similar to the Bo Peep that Disney fans are used to seeing at Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and at Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure. Although there are slight changes in the character’s face, the significant difference comes with sheriff Woody’s transformation! Bo Peep is made of porcelain. For a more glossy porcelain appearance, add some cosmetic makeup highlighter and ivory facial concealer to your costume. Outfit: Hollie Ballard (@jammyjimjams) also posted a side-by-side comparison of the two Woody costumes, with the left being the old version, and the right representing the new. Woody’s new face looks a lot younger and more toy-like. He also now has pants that are more 3-D and proportionate to the rest of his body. Bo Peep’s outfit has changed a lot since her first 1990’s appearance in Toy Story. Whereas she once wore a polka-dotted dress with long bloomers, in Toy Story 4 she now wears a periwinkle-blue corset-style top with white lace accents and short sleeves, along with a matching pair of calf-length blue pants. Krys Magic (@krystian_magic) even responded to the Tweet saying “Both Woody and Bo Peep have had such a glow up”, — and if we take a look at the bottom photo it is quite clear what the Toy Story characters have gotten done! That version of Bo, however, is quite dated as it would have been taken prior to Toy Story 4 coming out, as we can tell from the outfit. Voiced by Annie Potts, Bo Peep a supporting character in the Toy Story franchise. She appears in Toy Story (1995), Toy Story 2 (1999) & Toy Story 4 (2019). In the first 2 films, Bo Peep is Woody's love interest. However, in Toy Story 3 (2010), she's nowhere to be seen as she was given away before the events of the film. Only for her to return in Toy Story 4 (2019) where she has become a lost toy, free from any owners and able to do as they please. She reunites with Woody and the rest of the gang to help other lost toys find new owners. Together with Woody, Buzz, Forky and the rest of the lost toys, she faces off against the talking doll Gabby. Shh! Are all the humans leaving? It's essential to stay in our quiet and immobile state so long as they're around. If they knew that we toys could run around, talk, and go on adventures without them, it might be harder for them to come up with their own stories for us. It's our job as toys to give everyone that feeling of tremendous joy and awesome memories. That's how you get their name written in marker on the bottom of your shoes, after all. That's the point of all of this!

But in the new Toy Story 4 movie, the arrival of a new toy, a road trip adventure and an unexpected reunion help Woody see just how big the world can be for a toy. Personally, I am glad to see Disney fix up older costumes! Meet and greets are some of the best aspects of visiting a Disney Park, and having the character look as realistic as possible is always a top-notch way to ensure a fantastic Guest experience.
