Never averse to shedding her clothes in pursuit of a good story, Emanuelle arrives in America with a mission to expose the sizzling inner secrets of the jet set at play. The crazy thing : this film is an Italian-French coproduction, but impossible to find it in France : Studio Canal, owner of the rights, is afraid to compete with the official Emmanuelle series with Sylvia Kristel, another of their properties.

It mirrors other late 1970s sex films that embraced horror (like the "Violent Pink" era of Nikkatsu in films like " R*pe! Not wanting to take part in a film, Bill and Emanuelle elope, running along the beach in the sunset.

My previous review compared this film to Nikkatsu Roman Porno and other pink film that used animals (horses, pigs, dogs, taxidermy crows. She escapes by seducing, drugging and raping the resort's lesbian director and getting into the cab of the chauffeur with whom she came. My favorite Laura Gemser movie, with the first EMANUELLE directed by Bitto Albertini, d'Amato's EMANUELE AND THE LAST CANNIBALS, and of course, the wonderful LOVES IS FOREVER directed by Hal Bartlett. I am a big fan of exploitation and i wasn't dissapointed with this i have seen a couple of these movies before (last cannibals) and this is with out a doubt the best one yet. What makes it so extreme are that all the images on display as used in the context of sexual fantasy. Like holy shit, I thought horsing around at the zodiac sex harem was gonna be about as smutty as this gets, but then there's the whole hardcore man-meat whorehouse, followed by the snuff dungeon nightmare that leaves this flick on a surprisingly brutal note.again there is a story line and the usual Ms Gemser ridding herself of her kit but as usual falling short of delivering of potential. Emanuelle goes into a drug trip in which she travels with him to South America and witnesses torture and rape with her own eyes. Emanuelle's boyfriend Bill later pays her a visit, the couple have sex during a rehearsal of the Spring concerto. In Joe D’Amato Totally: Uncut The Erotic Experience (62 mins), the legendary director speaks candidly during a career-spanning interview filmed in 1999 (from the series Eurotika, I think) which also features a generous amount of film clips (featuring DOZENS of D'Amato regulars and one-off such Jack Palance) from his wildly prolific filmography. There’s a fun scene in the film where Gemser’s character brings Tinti and his wife together, and she exits the room with this adorable smirk on her face.

This is probably about as extreme as exploitation gets (even when compared to such gory masterpieces as Nekromantik and Cannibal Holocaust). The characters are no more than bodies to whom a string of pointless events happen without consequence of leaving an impression apart from a bad after taste.I think my favorite scene was when some lady decides to put flowers in some guys pubes to decorate that dick. or compared "Emanuelle" to the "Nami" character of " Angel Guts" (who was a reporter in " Angel Guts: Nami"). The snuff footage didn’t bother me nearly as much as the bestiality did - that almost put me off entirely, but I endured and am thankful that I did.
