We keep our hedgehogs cage on the floor as the room we use tends to be warm all year round, otherwise if the room was colder than we would like, we would definitely looking at having the cage in a raise position such as on a table. In fact, during the colder months, we don’t use this room ourselves as it’s too cold for even us to sit or lounge around. So, for a hedgehog, it would be a dangerous room for them to reside in.
