The Mods went around on special speeder bikes that were brightly colored and could be used by a wide variety of folks. But then the Mods were modified so that made sense. You’d want a vehicle that could accommodate any body type and set of capabilities. After all Grogu and a Wookie were pretty different and needed different dimensions in a vehicle. Mod bikes could be made on different scales to accommodate both of them.

Even when he’d been at the Jedi Temple he hadn’t been able to resolve the paradox of people who supported peace also having access to weapons like lightsabers. Weren’t there other ways to solve problems that would support life and the Force? Grogu wondered if there was a story he hadn’t been told about that. Did other people make armor like Mandalorian armor? Or had there been other Mandalorians that used different central symbols? Was it an older symbol from a different time? Or was it just that another Armorer liked a different design? Yup, actually. Cobb took a huge risk, but then sometimes that’s the best choice. Ignoring the problem didn’t make it go away. Arguing about the problem also didn’t make it go away. You just had to work to solve the problem and do what needed to be done. Cobb had done that and Grogu was impressed. If only the Jedi had been better at that sort of thing. But then he wouldn’t have come to Tatooine and met Cobb… well, maybe the next Jedi would be better at that. He wondered if the Mandalorian ever had moments like that. When he just stopped and noticed nature and the people or critters around them and thought ‘Wow, this is lovely’ or words to that affect. Grogu laughed out loud when he thought of Din Djarin even using the word ‘lovely’. Grogu sighed. Many things were simple when you just looked at them from a process perspective. Find the person, collect the person, turn the person in. But the complications came when you looked at why you were doing it and how you were doing and who else you had to work with or against. And was it all worth the pay?

Customer reviews

Was that it? Did Mandalorians just not really make friends? Did they hide their faces to avoid letting people know how things really affected them? Was that why Din Djarin didn’t talk much? At least not to most people. He didn’t want his voice to give away how affected he was by whatever was happening. Because if people knew he was in distress they would want to help and he didn’t want to be helped? No… he’d accepted help from the other Mandos to get off Nevarro. That had been interesting. Sorgan didn’t seem to have a lot of technology to hand. After all, they farmed little shrimp critters called krill. Were they shrimp or fish? Grogu didn’t know. But whatever they were, that stuff got turned into Spotchka. A blue drink. All the locals drank it. IG-11 had rescued Grogu and those stormtroopers had been deactivated. Then, instead of thinking it had fulfilled its programming, IG-11 knew that there was more work to be done and continued to protect Grogu and the rest of the group, when they caught up with them, and saved the day! The whole day really! Which was great!

Grogu didn’t really like to think of the process of killing a critter. He knew it happened. He knew that eventually even the frogs he ate a live were no longer alive after a time in his stomach. He was pretty sure the same could be said for the Tusken the critter had grabbed. In part he had liked that because the best he could offer those people was a thank you and a smile. Depending on circumstances, he might heal them if they needed healing. He never asked for anything for doing that, but he always appreciated it when people gave him something to eat or helped him stay warm. At least for a little while. Grogu had been flipping through vids of the various places he had traveled with the Mandalorian. Apparently Din’s helmet was able to take vids of things whenever he wanted. Grogu was surprised to see what sort of vids the Mandalorian bounty hunter took and asked to see them. Din had been happy to comply. Normally he’d just pull that container down using the Force. Easy peasy. But when they were with Peli, the Mandalorian preferred that Grogu not show off. That meant he had to do things the harder way or ask for help. If he’d been a baby he would have just done it anyway and tried to look extra cute so Din would be all ‘Awww, that’s my boy’ instead of ‘Grogu, I told you no!’

No matter what, the Tuskens and the folks from Mos Pelgo, the Marshal and the MAndalorian were still there. Still fighting the thing. Not turning away and not giving up. Grogu thought he admired that. It was hard to say. Were they being stubborn or was this just what had to be done and now was the only time to do it? He’d been chased by people in armor and had been pretty happy when they were stopped from chasing him, however that came to pass. He had also been rescued by people in armor, and not just Din Djarin, but those other Mandalorians that Din knew. So you couldn’t just look at a person and make a judgment about their character. Is that what the Client was talking about?
