Ahhh! Just what I needed! It’s been awhile since I’ve had a chance to read Callie Rose and I’m glad I didn’t miss this one! I know this was only the first book of a trilogy, and I am sure they will get their well-deserved happy end based on respect and love by book three. But I'm not sure I can go through all the journey and would rather jump directly to the happy ever after. There was a level of corniness in this book that I just couldn’t get over. Major eye rolling happened. Ayla isn’t weak per se, and of course it’s important to promote a persons ability to overcome physical limitations, but the level of corniness throughout the dialogue overshadowed the attempt to give her character the strong willed vibe that she needed to have in the world she was dropped into. It felt really forced. At least for me. This was something I didn’t feel through the first two books.. like AT ALL.. so it’s really hard to put my finger on the exact reason I felt this way through this book. All I can boil it down to is I just felt a disconnect with her character this time around. And I re-read the first two books before starting the third!

I enjoyed this one, Ayla is a strong and fierce h, moving forward with her life despite her physical disability Callie Rose has said that she loves writing for long stretches of time as compared to many of her friends who write in short bursts. She can often be found sitting at her laptop where she can stay for hours writing to exhaustion. This book is good and dark. But I guess it gotta be dark when the three love interests are genuine stalkers. This was full of sexual tension, sexy times, and the personality of the three different men spark in this one.I have never been more upset for a series to be finished, but also I’ve never been this happy. Every book in this series was pure perfection and the final one didn’t disappoint. The twenty six year old author wrote “Savage Royals” her debut novel and first of the “Boys of Oak Park Prep” series in 2019. Since then, she has become a prolific author with more than twenty three novels across more than seven series. i have read some stalker's plot books and i can say this one here is one of the best about this especific topic. usually the author introduces the stalking part and then the characters meet and everybody forgets the whole point of the plot. eu estou escrevendo isso aqui sem nem saber porque eu dei estrelas. eu devo ter gostado de algo, mas nem lembro mais por motivos de ✨esse livro é totalmente ESQUECÍVEL✨ (depois de um tempo lembrei: literalmente a última cena do livro tem um super plot twist que eu fiquei OMGGGGGGG, but that was it) At the beginning Marcus was the main love interest, but after he was kidnapped her relationship with Theo and Ryland developed until she cared for them a much as she did for Marcus.

As usual, I’m obsessed with the guys Callie writes. She’s a go to author for me when it comes to RH because I know I’ll fall in love with her characters. All the MC's are 17/18 in the first chapter, and are at a bar drinking and dancing. Maybe all four of them used fake ID's? The bulk of the story takes place 2.5 years after this, so they are all around 22/23. So again, I give this author props, because I kind of liked this whole plot. It was very twisted and dark. I mean, this is a book this isn’t real life. I like how the relationship continues to evolve with all the MCs. I’m not a prude by any means, you can’t be when you read reverse harem, but sometimes there’s just a time and place for sex and some of the times and some of the places made me roll my eyes.to conclude, ryland. nothing to say about him. joking. he was the less developed but i can already say he will be the one i will less care. he is that rude type of reverse harem guy that clearly doesn't know how to deal with his feelings so shows hate to the main character. (i kinda hate that)

Still, she also believes in the importance of having tribes who can help you on the journey. In her case, she found a lot of support from her writer friends who built her up when she was being torn down by vicious critics of her work. I also REALLY hated the way she handled meeting a certain character in this book. I can’t say too much because I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone, but her level of “stand-offishness” honestly made me angry. I’m not saying she should have blindly trusted this person, because that would have been unrealistic for her character, but some sort of human emotion would have been nice. It was almost like the more she came to terms with this character the more indifferent she acted. She just glazed right over it when I feel like it should have contributed to her life, to the plot, in a larger manner. The relationship between the FMC and the MMCs also seems more genuine (or as genuine as it can be).
