Description

The Alpinestars GP Pro R3 gloves are day-long, every-day comfortable, and they are extraordinary street-riding and touring gloves. The Alpinestars GP Pro R3 gloves are much superior in protection versus the Dainese 4 Stroke 2 gloves. If you are generally happy with the fit, leave the helmet on for a good length of time to ensure it is not pressing in places that are not immediately apparant. If a helmet is really pressing on your forehead this can sometimes cause a headache over time so it may be worth trying another size or brand. Once more, please help us spread the word with our guide and, if you have any questions or spot any newly-launched CE Level 2-KP gloves so that we can get hold of them and review them, then do not hesitate in letting us know in the comments below!

Once again, seam-burst resistance is the one test under the CE Level 2-KP certification in which most motorcycle gloves (including racing gloves) fail at. Alpinestars GP Pro RS3 gloves: exactly the same as the previous Alpinestars GP Pro R3 gloves. The only difference is that these GP Pro RS3 gloves have goatskin palms instead of kangaroo-skin palms as with the R3 version. This RS3 version is also a tad cheaper than the original R3 version. Off the record, folks: avoid riding in heavy rain with any racing motorcycle gloves since getting them drenched repeatedly over a long-enough time span will degrade the protective qualities of the leather. This is applicable to all motorcycle gloves but is especially so for racing gloves meant to provide uttermost protection in the case of an off-bike, pavement-kissing escapade. Quality of materials

As light-duty waterproof winter gloves with great seasonal versatility and impeccable all-day comfort and tactility, the Garibaldi Motion gloves are every bit worth their asking price. The Five TFX1 GTX gloves are fully waterproof and surprisingly comfortable to wear in both hot weather (above 30°C/86°F) and moderately-cold weather (15°C/60°F). Longer cuffs would satisfy my “thing” for oldschool-long cuffs. It’s a personal preference of mine and of some riders. I’m having to point this out mostly so as to fill up this list of disadvantages since the GP Pro R3 gloves are just about perfect. The Alpinestars GP Pro R3 gloves are solid three-season gloves for spring, summer and autumn. This adds further value to the GP Pro R3 gloves since they’ll perform majestically as long as it’s not cold and/or raining heavily.

Hello Roy, as someone who almost lost his left hand in a motorcycle crash because the palms of the gloves evaporated during the slide and caused infection and then sepsis, I cannot thank you enough for what you do with educating us with all the best protective gear that is available.I say it’s a most if u club ride or in general ride hard the protection is the best in the business. The comfort is great and do actually fit to size I’m a large and fits great only down side is you have to break them in, I think that’s in every gloves you buy. It’s most in my book In fact, the Garibaldi Motion gloves are mostly spring, autumn and early-winter apt, although, depending on where you live, the Garibaldi Motion gloves will work as full-wintertime gloves. Just keep in mind that the gloves won’t keep your hands warm in temperatures below 10°C/50°F. The Alpinestars GP Pro R3 gloves have been re-designed with enhanced protection, comfort and aesthetics over their preceding GP Pro R2 gloves. We will continue to update this guide with any more CE Level 2-KP motorcycle gloves that are launched but, for the time being, you already have at your disposal a good selection of CE Level 2-KP motorcycle gloves that won’t only satisfy your riding needs but also give you plenty of peace of mind as you enjoy the act of riding a motorcycle.

No hard armor on thumbs is my only real criticism. Alpinestars isn’t fond of this in its high-end racing gloves for some reason, though. Stemming from France, Five has put out other CE Level 2-KP gloves in the past such as the Five SF1 gloves, but, at present, the Five RFX1 gloves are the ones that are mostly available. Wait, did I say two pairs of motorcycle gloves? Actually, call that three pairs of motorcycle gloves.

Alpinestars was the first to turn the tide in 2019 so as to offer CE level 2-KP motorcycle gloves to the public; in part due to our continued effort at Motorcycle Gear Hub to inform motorcycling consumers about the protective benefits of CE Level 2-KP motorcycle gloves. The OJ Spin gloves are among the only two pairs of short-cuff motorcycle gloves that are CE Level 2-KP certified. The other pair of motorcycle gloves at present that are CE-certified as CE Level 2-KP are the Five SF1 gloves, which we’ve reviewed below too.
