We used our own money until we found investment. Fortunately, between the three of us we have quite diverse skills and expertise in sales, marketing and design. We naturally fell into different parts of the businesses which I think was key for building a brand. Running CanO Water has become somewhat of a 24/7 job! If we’re not in the office we’re out at events networking or just trying to meet new people. We all love to keep fit and go to the gym so we try and fit that in as much as possible as well as generally being quite outdoorsy and try to escape the city as much as we can. Defiantly, we’re planning on building a whole range of exciting products but we don’t want to give away too much right now… watch this space.

What one piece of advice would you give someone who also wants to launch their own food or drink product? We believe that engaging with your customer is really important, through sampling and events we’re able to meet and educate our target audience and educate them on the benefits of CanO Water. We’re three close friends who grew up in the same town. With over a decade of experience in branding and graphic design, Perry decided to apply his skills to his new venture. With the vision of creating a product that has an impact visually as well as functionally for the environment, Perry teamed up with his good friends Ariel and Josh to help further develop the idea and launch CanO Water. I think having a purpose is really important. When you have a mission and a purpose that you’re passionate about, there’s no stopping you and I believe people will see that and support it.
