I have tried this toothpaste for the first time and I was impressed however it left me with a sore mouth, something I have never experienced from any other toothpaste or oral product? Please advise? Reply If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, there should be no problem using this toothpaste, though you should speak to a doctor before using, just in case there may be any problems. Can this toothpaste be used when using any medication? This is the only toothpaste that I’ve tried that is actually pink, yes pink! It’s very unusual and I don’t know why they had to put this artificial colourant in (CI 14720) to make it pink. There is no benefit to having it pink, so why? Who knows?

Euthymol toothpaste, while beneficial, contains certain ingredients that might cause discomfort for some users: Titanium dioxide as a colorant. It's a white pigment with great color consistency and dispersibility. what‑it‑does Allergic Reactions: The synthetic red dye, CI 14720, has raised some safety concerns and could trigger allergic reactions in those sensitive to it. Menthol needs no introduction: it's the thing that causes the cooling sensationso well-known both from cosmeticproducts as well as a bunch of other things like chocolate, chewing gum, toothpaste or cigarette. It's a natural compound that comes from theessential oil of Mentha species (peppermint oil contains 40-50% menthol) and it gives them their typical minty smell a The famous or rather infamous SLS (not to be confused with SLES). It is a cleansing agent known for being too good at the job and potentially irritating the skin. Some describe the taste as being like sarsaparilla or root beer. Thymol, wintergreen and menthol provide the distinctive flavour and warming feeling. And to help heal ulcers and sore gums Euthymol utilizes an ingredient that is commonly used to heal wounds.

Teeth Whitening Capabilities: The presence of hydrated silica and dicalcium phosphate dihydrate in the toothpaste helps to remove stains and plaque, contributing to a whiter smile. As a matter of fact, the required amount of toothpaste on a toothbrush (for an adult) is approximately 2mm x 2mm x 2mm… A TINY amount… about 10% of the typical amount most toothpaste manufacturers show in their commercials!!!! I have been using this toothpaste since I was a small child of about 9 years old, and I LOVE the taste as well as the benefits… I am now 77 years old!! With NO false teeth! There are a couple of questionable ingredients. These include SLS and carrageenan, both of which are associated with irritation in some individuals. They are both commonly used and if you are sensitive to either you would almost certainly know by now.The flavour of Euthymol toothpaste is quite unusual, it’s very medicinal and herbal. It takes a bit of time to get used to it. I am not the biggest fan of the flavour but I can cope with it; it’s not amazing but it’s bearable and you can definitely get used to it. Some people may not like it though as it’s pretty strong. BRIGHT PINK, BRIGHT TEETH - Say goodbye to the sweet minty taste of regular toothpastes and say hello to...

I have tried other brands, briefly, always returning to this family favourite. I do not like the fact that most of the 'magic, do-it-all' brands contain fluoride and can be abrasive. We rely on members like you to sustain our vibrant community so thanks again, we couldn't do it without you.To reduce plaque and kill the germs that cause bad breath Euthymol deploys the powerful antibacterial properties found in Thymol.

Apparently Euthymol's use is as a "Scientific Dental Preparation", but your teeth must be in some level of disrepair to use Euthymol, or you are perhaps one of the 'paranoid types' about fluoride. Euthymol has often, and continues to be, championed by the anti-fluoride brigade who make bizarre claims that Euthymol is better because it's just toxic overall and not having an additional toxic compound to contend with. Personally, I wouldn’t use it as my everyday toothpaste. But as an occasional switch from my regular Kingfisher? Definitely worth considering. Is Euthymol toothpaste good for sensitive teeth? Euthymol toothpaste contains several natural ingredients such as glycerin, wintergreen oil, carrageenan, cellulose gum, thymol, and menthol.
