Pretty much all of the Big Bads both the Scoobies and Angel Investigations go up against - though definitely except Glory. Much straighter variations though are Warren Mears and Angelus. While both are Manipulative Bastards Warren is a more straight-up Mad Scientist, while Angelus is The Chessmaster. Tokumei Sentai Go Busters has Enter, who plans operations for the Vaglass and creates the Metaloids. Among Darkseid's cronies in New Gods are Desaad, Mokkari, Simyan, and Dr. Bedlam. While Desaad is the chief one, the middle two run an evil counterpart of Project Cadmus called "the Evil Factory" and Bedlam's speciality is robotic clones called "animates". In the Whateley Universe, there are lots of Mad Scientist types. The ones who work for other supervillains tend to be characters like Chessmaster or Nimbus. I grew up watching creative geniuses like Joplin, Hendrix, and Morrison blaze brilliantly, then die of overdoses. And I idolized writers like Hemingway, Poe, Kerouac, O. Henry, and Thompson, who all viewed drugs and alcohol as necessary ingredients for their creative genius—or at least helpful to medicate the issues preventing them from achieving it.Kousoku Sentai Turboranger has Doctor Lehda, a Boma scientist and mystic.
