As others have mentioned, the lead character has a soft baby-like voice, which is obviously a little distracting since it's my first comment and the first comment made by many other reviewers too. Whenever it looks as if the there is a rational explanation for the events things turn weirder, Alysa has strange visions and dreams, she sees creatures.

While most of the horror is psychological there are some violent and disturbing scenes including a sword stick being put to good use and a couple of stranglings . Explore the breathtaking Valley, take in the beautiful scenery while at the same time gathering clues to help determine the final location of the Artifact.Echoes of Fear opens with an elderly man (Norman Zeller – Malignant) taking a shower, who promptly dies in mysterious circumstances. A young woman must confront the mystery surrounding her grandfather's death after she inherits his house. By the end of it, you’ll be glad you did, because frankly any movie that manages to genuinely scare me enough to make me squeal “Fuck my Life! I went into this film not expecting much, but was surprised by the tight acting of the two lead women as well as the men playing boyfriend and homicidal maniac and the woman playing the victim being raped and murdered. is super impressive with his skills LOL I'm not a pet rat enthusiast or anything but I do love animals.

What appealed to me about this movie is that the ghosts are only half the horror, in fact if anything they are the goods guys, despite looking "scary". It’s a haunted house film, but the main focus of the story isn’t the haunting, it’s more of a detective story following a breadcrumb trail, occasionally interrupted by ghostly presences that really wish she’d pay more attention to the things they’re scrawling on walls and mirrors. That woman brings a fine mix of vulnerability and intensity to a role, and has some of the best facial expressions I've ever seen. This is another film where to give too much away would be to do the film a disservice, because after all this the recommendation is going to be that this is a film worth seeing. His granddaughter Alisa (Trista Robinson – Purgatory Road, The Human Race) arrives to get the place ready to sell on, which involves her mostly living there on her own while she sorts her grandfather’s affairs, with occasional visits from boyfriend Brandon (Paul Chirico – Marry Me, Escape the Night) and best friend Steph (Hannah Race – Billy and the Bandit, So You Wanna Make a Movie) to help her out. The pacing is definitely a problem because things seem to move too slow, however, the mystery aspect of the story helps maintain interest.
