Description

DUNU boasts huge production facilities and a comprehensive suite of state-of-the-art testing equipment – Brüel & Kjær head-and-torso simulators, spectral analyzers, and anechoic chambers. Driver development is done totally in-house. This warranty extends only to personal use & does not extend to any product that has been used for commercial use, rental use, or use that is not intended. There are no warranties other than expressly set forth herein. The treble is, perhaps unsurprisingly, fairly restrained and likely won’t cause even the most treble-sensitive listeners any concern. As the upper midrange transitions into the higher frequencies, there continues to be enough presence to remain articulate, but nothing jumps out. This IEM houses a dual-cavity DLC DD, with an internal N52 magnet. These are placed inside a specially designed resonance chamber with a unique internal airflow architecture. Indeed, the absence of driver flex does allude to the success of this design! Despite the good level of fittings, none of the accompanying tips have worked well for me. Except for the S&S, the rest have a narrow core and that detracts from the clarity of the sound. The S&S tips have been a disastrous combination with my ergonomics and a total loss of bass. I really don't understand the cylindrical shape, it doesn't seem to me a very ergonomic design.

DunuDunu has been around for quite some time and started their audio journey producing OEM/ODM produced products for both telecommunications as well as audio companies. They have actually been developing earphones and other audio products since 1994. However, it wasn’t until 2006 that the brand name “Dunu” first made an entry into the scene. They began creating driver materials and diaphragm materials which ultimately led to many Dunu created patents. Ever since then, Dunu has been steadily producing highly competitive audio products that I’m sure most of the readers are very well aware of. Dunu has a way of creating products which scream “premium” in every way and sound the part too. Both devices have similar build quality as they have metal alloy shell chassis. They even have the same transducers which are dynamic drivers but the difference was materials as Aria's diaphragm is made of LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) while KIMA uses a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) which is a bit better. It has a lesser amount of inclusions too.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Upper-MidrangeFemales are an entirely different animal. They sound more forward than males. Partially due to the rise in the upper-mids & lower treble area. The DKC actually has a striking resemblance to the Tripowin Olina yet with a slightly more bodied female vocal and also slightly less resolute. Very close though. Elle Goulding‘s beautiful rendition of “ How Long Will I Love You” is so sweetly shimmery with a softness that somehow is resounding. I’ve heard better in the price range, but I adore the way the rest of the instrumentation plays around her perfectly up front vocal. There are moments when the bass digs deep on this song and doesn’t even come close to adding a veil as her voice cuts through with a forward and soft vibrance. I think the DKC has a nicely measured lift in this area that gives a slight sense of sparkle. It's clear that Dunu knows how to bring a new model to market and attract attention. But to get to that point it has been necessary to build a good reputation. And, moreover, to maintain it. The hardest thing is always to maintain a status. But of course, with models like the Kima, that's the best way to prove it.

We start off with an A/B comparison against the older brother: the original Kima. These two siblings have a similar shell shell and ergonomics, just that the OG Kima comes in a lighter grey. The Kima aren’t the most spacious or open-sounding IEMs, but they don’t suffer from piercing sibilance or veiled muddiness. They walk that middle line of just bright enough to sound reasonably crisp and lively without extending particularly high into the airier registers. Where to Buy DUNU KIMA ด้วยค่า impedance ขนาด 32 Ohm และ ความไวเสียง Sensitivity 108 dB ทำให้เป็นชุดหูฟังทีขับง่าย Classic New Color Scheme:-While retaining the praised look of the OG Kima, the new Kima Classic has a new color scheme for its shells. The pair has a beautiful coffee grey color scheme with a golden ear nozzle. The ear shells here are crafted using high-precision melting and casting molds. They are then finished with a specially selected sandblasting process giving them a nicely textured finish!!

vs Dunu Titan SIronically, the most formidable opponent to the Kima come from within the family – Dunu Titan S. The clarity and imaging of the Titan S are a tier above the Kima, and the bass also seem faster. Imaging seems to take more of an enveloping 3-D like presentation on how I was able to pinpoint the placements of singers and instrumentalists in a three channel-like experience . Separation has considerable gap between the spacing of each element with its distinct stratification of each specific frequency and dynamic layers.

There is a small vent located near the nozzle and a larger circular vent hole on the inside surface of the main body. The grill, 2-pin port, and vents are visible. ComfortThe depiction of vocals and instruments remains clear regardless of musical choice, likely due to the controlled lower frequencies failing to bleed upwards significantly. The upper midrange captures just enough energy to keep the music sounding interesting, and the intimate soundstage engages the listener. As for driveability, it seems that DUNU KIMA is a very efficient IEM when it comes to amplification. Just a decent power output from multimedia devices like smartphones and tablets will give enough juice on this set to deliver a good amplitude and better dynamic sound. Putting them in better sources with better DAC/amps will sound even more fuller and vital to the sound quality. DUNU, a sub-brand of Top-Sound Electronics Limited, located in Dongguan City, China, has manufactured earphones since 2003, including OEM/ODM products for other audio companies. I am really new to this whole audio "scene" and I will learn how to read the graph (but it will take some time), so I would really appreciate some tips for that also.
