With second generation innovations comes a 10% boost in performance. The UNI FAN SL-INF 120 utilises a seven-blade design, optimised to function at faster speeds with higher airflow and static pressure. All whilst keeping noise levels to a minimum. At its top speed of 2100RPM, these fans only produce 29 dBA, for whisper quiet operation. Plus, with a maximum static pressure of 2.66mmH2O and airflow of 61.3CFM, these are highly efficient fans to add to your thermal solution.

By positioning the Male- port of a fan right next to the female port of a second fan, we can use the hooks that are present on the edges of a Uni SL fan to slide two fans into each other creating a 2x1 Fan cluster.

Precision Engineered

Once every fan is connected and the PC is running, we can install Lian Li's L-Connect 3 Controller Software. Please also keep in mind that due to the Fans having multiple different ARGB strips, mirrors, and illumination sources, the only way of properly controlling each of them individually will be by using Lian Li's software. You can use your motherboard software, but getting different colors onto different portions of the fan will require an immense amount of trial and error. Lampton SP105 fan controller (10 port PWM controller) connected the 3 channels of AL-120 fans (3 connections on the fan controller), and

With the Lian Li UNI FAN SL-INF reverse blade fan, you can create the ultimate infinity mirror aesthetic within your build. The RSL-INF showcases Lian Li’s stunning infinity mirror RGB, as they feature a reverse airflow design. This means that they draw air through the cage of the fan and exhaust it out the uncovered side, as opposed to the standard design of drawing air in the uncovered side and exhausting through the cage. This makes them perfectly suited for air intake. The last method of installation can be achieved by daisy-chaining to each other. While most fan's daisy-chaining feature comes in for daisy-chaining the cable, Lian Li's approach is vastly different. Interestingly for us though, Lian Li's Uni SL-Infinity fans made us re-think previously set preferences. Until now, we were by default not huge fans of proprietary connectors and mandatory software. However, in this case, we loved it. Usually when populating your intake, you must utilise a standard fan with the cage side pointing into your main chamber. Which, if it features RGB lighting, you lose the full effect. With its reverse fan blade design, the RSL-INF not only maintains peak airflow performance but allows the stunning infinity mirror RGB lighting to be on full display. What’s more, by pairing these fans with Lian Li’s standard UNI FAN SL-INF fans, you can create a unique RGB aesthetic for your build. Usually, we are not big fans of proprietary Fan software. They tend to be poorly developed, buggy, and overly excitingly looking whilst not giving you any features that a motherboard software couldn't.In case you want to avoid using Lian Li's L-3, you are open to installing it, and applying the Motherboard control setting buttons for Speed and Light. Once this mode is on, you can continue using your Motherboard Software for every kind of control while the PWM and 3-pin ARGB cable of the controller, which we connected earlier, will be used as a passthrough connection. There are no extension cables being used inside or outside of the computer chassis other than a surge protector. Controlling the RGB of RSL-Inf fans is simple, as you can utilise Lian Li’s powerful L-Connect 3 software. Employing L-Connect 3 you can adjust the lighting of individual fans or groups, to create a unified display. With a huge variety of colours available, multiple lighting effects, and the ability to control the fan blades and frames lighting separately, you will be able to create your perfect lighting setup. Fan Specifications: Colour But it's not only their performance that stunned us. The ARGB implementation is incredible as well. Infinity Mirror on 3 occasions, central illumination, and a total of 5 ARGB stripes are plastered all around the fan providing you with every ARGB implementation method ever created. I do it this way so I can forget the L-Connect software (once I set it to "motherboard control for the lighting). The single fan port on the Commander Pro controls all fans via the Lampton controller and a Lighting Channel port on the Commander Pro controls the fan RGB.

However, we strongly urge you to give Lian Li's L-Connect 3 a try. The software is very well designed and we were surprised by how many features, modes, and direct control you can have using it. Although we are usually trying to avoid any sort of extra software to the biggest extent possible, we were surprised by how happy we were using it. Once unboxed, we will not only find the fans themselves but also a whole range of installation equipment: As this review is supposed to be on the hardware- side of the fan, we will not be going in-depth into the software, but as we were forced to use it, we are able to confirm that thus far, we have not seen such a well developed ARGB and Fan speed software, neither from a Fan manufacturer nor from a Motherboard manufacturer. Until about 50% of their speed, Lian Li's Uni SL had the best Noise-to-Performance ratio ever recorded by us, making them the best fans on the market right now. A truly amazing result.

Used each GPU for about 2-3 weeks before swapping to the next to no avail. The current GFPU in use is the 3090.
