Maierhofer, C., et al. (2016). Lubricant use and rectal chlamydial and gonococcal infections among men who engage in receptive anal intercourse. Wash, in hot water, the mixing container, the measuring spoons, the stirring implement, and the bottle in which you will eventually store the mixed J-Lube. Rinse them thoroughly afterwards, especially if you used soap. Once they are clean and residue-free, sterilize them all with whatever you have chosen as a sterilizing agent. Rinse them again afterwards with clean water to wash away any remaining sterilizing agent (especially important if you used something that could leave a residue behind). Make certain that the measuring spoons are completely dry before you use them; everything else can be slightly damp. In fact, it is best to avoid drying things with a towel if at all possible. Towels have lint on them, and lint floating in your J-Lube is really unappealing. I am guessing, although at this point I am not yet certain, that you could achieve a similar effect by mixing in a slightly larger quantity of KY Jelly (or, preferably, a generic replacement for KY that is less costly) than you would use of the General Lube. There is some similarity in textures and ingredients between the two products, and it would be available just about everywhere. Lubricants, or “lube” as it is commonly called, are generally safe to use and can enhance sexual experiences by reducing friction and discomfort. However, as with any product used on or in the body, there are potential risks associated with their use. Some of these risks include:

If you want to produce a high-quality batch of J-Lube that will last for quite some time, it really isn't all that difficult. Here's what you need: See here our own homemade giant bubble recipe, its the recipe we use for all our bubble entertainment and workshops. Its the best for making big bubbles! For example, if someone inserts butter into a vagina or anus and does not clean the area properly afterward, the butter may start to spoil and become rancid. This may cause an infection due to bacterial growth. SpitWhen it comes to the selection of mixing implements, I highly suggest glass whenever possible. It is easy to clean and sterilize, doesn’t degrade as do plastics, and is microwave safe. Plastic will do, but above all, try to avoid metal since you cannot use it in a microwave (especially with the mixing container since you will need to microwave it). Aside from the lube’s base (explained in detail above), here are a few key criteria to keep in mind when shopping for lube: Making your own lubricant may sound intimidating, but it’s actually quite simple and cost-effective.

Put the distilled water in the pitcher. *Lightly* dust the surface with about 1/3 or 1/4 of the J-lube powder. Avoid creating piles or lumps of J-lube powder on the surface of the water. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit for, say, five minutes, until the powder has all taken up some water. Let sit a while longer, say ten or twenty minutes. Then stir very well. What the reviewers are saying: “To say that I'm super pleased is an understatement.” —a Goodparts reviewer

J-Lube, but consider K-Lube instead. Better than J-Lube, but consider K-Lube instead.

Pour into plastic squeeze bottle with snap style lid. Snapping lid shut after dispensing cuts the strings. https://journals.lww.com/stdjournal/Fulltext/2016/07000/Lubricant_Use_and_Rectal_Chlamydial_and_Gonococcal.5.aspxSilicone-based lubes are suitable for sexual intercourse as they do not damage latex-based barrier methods of contraception, such as condoms. So again, I’m no doctor, but I don’t see much risk of this type of issue under normal circumstances. Fisting might cause it, but even then I doubt you’d get much J-Lube past the point of the wound. You’d have other issues to worry about in a case like that. A large ruptured intestine is dangerous enough. And I have no idea why the method I was struggling with is so popular, because I found it slow, painstaking and fussy. The common method I'm referring to is to use a regular kitchen mixer in a microwave safe bowl, alternately mixing and nuking the J-Lube to remove lumps and bumps. As indicated above, I used that method exactly once. It was long, tedious, and very, very messy compared to R.'s method, which takes me literally all of 5-10 minutes, including decanting the J-Lube and washing, drying, and stowing away the immersion blender. The key things to this recipe are patient waiting for the J-lube to hydrate, the boiling, and the addition of a jelly-style lubricant. I haven't tried J-lube without adding a jelly-style one, so maybe I'm full of shit. Nothing new there. Color me hopelessly unimaginative.
