IMO, the best Gucci fragrance they ever produced: the blend, the quality, performance - all is from niche side of the market.

My first spritz on a test strip in Boots this morning and I was like 'urgh, this is some dank musty rubbish - what is this smell?I spent years and years trying super-hard to like this stuff - but it is mediocre at best and performance is so abysmal there’s no point even wearing it in public because by the time you leave the house it is undetectable. The mid notes of tobacco and jasmine come through with subtlety, giving some warmth and sweetness after the minty opening. With all respect to Rowan's magniloquently negative entry -- I really enjoy his prose, but I could not disagree more with almost every aspect of his review. It's not so sweet as HiM which I like the most, the opening of HiM was so sharp and sweet that it was almost unbearable for me for the first half an hour. If you just love the scent and like to enjoy it, I can honestly say it has all the good qualities of the original Gucci by Gucci pour homme.

There’s nothing wrong with having an opinion, but when it’s contrary to objective reality it becomes a delusion. I really like this fragrance, but my breath gets taken away and a massive migraine is induced if I spray on more than 1 spray. On the skin last quite a bit, maybe a few hours due to the reformulations instead I recommend it to be sprayed on clothes.

Sillage and projection are on the weaker side, but the unbelievable quality of the scent cannot be mistaken.
