If you follow Formula 1, and particularly Guenther Steiner, you'll probably know what to expect from this book. Guenther Steiner is a very fun narrator and his spelling of certain words (fok, jeezuz christ, etc.) is also pretty hilarious. The book feels a little harebrained, and it feels more like the diary entries of an overworked team principal that have been tied together as a whole. People talk about football managers being under pressure. Trust me, that's nothing. Pressure is watching one of your drivers hit a barrier at 190mph and exploding before your eyes...”

The book promises to be “uncompromising and searingly honest, told in Steiner’s inimitable style” and give fans a look at the inner-workings of an F1 team from the view of a team principal.Balancing high global demand for every bite sized comment down to dealing with trying to find a hotel room for race week to where the freight and the car? Look I am not the biggest fan of Guenther Steiner but I tried to go into this book as objective as possible. Gernerally I love the idea of how the book is build and generally the idea itself. I would LOVE to read this sort of book of any other TP just to compare how different they work.

Guenther Steiner is one of motor racing's biggest and most celebrated characters, known to millions for his show-stealing appearances on Netflix's hugely popular fly on the wall series, Drive to Survive . Oddly enough, reminded me of my grandparents growing up in Deutschland. Very stern voice with sarcasm and directly to the point. Absolutely love his humor and style of speaking. Everything youve seen from Drive to Survive is present and the stories are amazing. See the world of Fifty Shades of Grey anew through the eyes of Christian Grey—a fresh perspective on the love story that has enthralled millions of readers around the world. In Surviving to Drive , the Haas team principal takes readers inside his Formula 1 team for the entirety of the 2022 season, giving an unobstructed view of what really takes place behind the scenes. Through this unique lens, Guenther takes us on the thrilling rollercoaster of life at the heart of high stakes motor racing. This was SUCH an easy read. Even if you’re not heavily in to Formula 1, I still think this would be an interesting insight into how it all works and understand the struggles and challenges they face. Especially since it’s all told from the mind and eyes of Guenther Steiner. He is absolutely hilarious and just seems so genuine. As fun as I see it is to make a inside DTS joke But honestly after the 5000 fok it just got annoying. Gernerally the "fun guentherism" words just got on my nerve. There are plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, witty comments and rants galore. Just like Steiner is one of a kind , there's never been a book quite like this! Autosport We look like a bunch of legends‘! Günther Steiner, teambaas van het Haas F1 team, staat na de Netflix-serie Drive to Survive bekend om zijn oneliners. Fearless and candid, Surviving to Drive reads like the night-time confessions of a football manager who is fighting to stay in the Premier League. A gleeful guide to a bonkers sport from a loveable rogue insider.” — The Times I love how he wrote this book as diary entries and it felt like he was speaking to you. It was very authentic and it was just a great read. It probably won’t surprise many people that I am starting my book with a swear word but all I can say is, thank fok that season is over! It’s been a nightmare from start to finish. I don’t drink very much but this year I’ve been tempted to take it up professionally. Whisky on a foking drip. That’s what I needed sometimes!
