Description

Six or ten cups are set up in a triangle formation at either end of the table and filled with beer, no surprises so far! With two teams, each member of the team attempts to throw a ping pong ball into your opponents cups on the other end of the table. If the ball lands in the cup you get to take the cup away from the opponent and drink the beer (possibly the best bit?). The first team who has taken away all of the cups from their opponent is the winner.

The rules, however, have remained very similar. The Prosecco Pong game by Talking Tables contains 12 plastic glasses and three pink ping-pong balls. Split your party (even if it’s just you and a friend enjoying a drink before you go out) into two teams of up to six people. Use the 12 glasses to create two equilateral triangle shapes, facing one another, at either end of a table surface. You’ve probably seen some over-zealous college students play ‘Beer Pong’, either in a movie or on television. While often a noteworthy example of what not to do when studying, the game has always brought people together to enjoy a few drinks and a little competition. Traditionally, it involves throwing or bouncing a standard ping-pong ball across a table, with the intention of it landing in a disposable cup filled with beer. Based in the capital, JS Fun Event Hire work to entertain all ages at your wedding day. Whether you want a bouncy castle on the grounds of your venue, or fancy a giant game of chess, they have you covered. Some say beer pong first came about in the USA college fraternities in 1950's/1960's while others say it was the 1970's. Either way beer pong started in US colleges and has now become a serious game in many London bars. It also involves drinking and screaming at your mates till they finish downing their drink.
