I’ve never read a hitchhiker romance before and now I’m afraid that nothing will come close to Lex and his bunny. In starting this book, I expected a dark read and what transpires is not for the faint at heart. However, the darkness didn’t feel grounded in character development and that lessened the emotional connection and overall growth of the characters. Considering the content, the ending was too convenient and without significant consequences considering all that occurred to these characters.
