Drink plenty of water. Water helps flush our systems of waste products and toxins, yet many of us go through life dehydrated—causing tiredness, low energy, and headaches. It's common to mistake thirst for hunger, so staying well hydrated will also help you make healthier food choices. Moderation: important to any healthy diet CW: The Splendid Table chose to feature three recipes from your cookbook, all of which are inspired by movies that revolve around food: Boeuf Bourguignon from Julie & Julia, Confit Byaldi from Ratatouille and Tonkotsu Ramen from Tampopo. Is there any behind-the-scenes advice you would suggest for anyone trying to capture the essence of those dishes?

Eat What You Watch Cookbook, transports the huge success of Andrew’s Youtube channel to the world of cookbooks. With recipes from more than 40 classic and cult films, this book is the perfect gift for both movie buffs and home cooks who want to add some cinematic flair to their cooking repertoire. This book combines some recipes Andrew has already cooked up in his youtube channel with others that he has not yet shared. Many of our favorite movies come with a side of iconic food moments: the elaborate timpano from Big Night, Charlie Chaplin’s dancing dinner rolls in The Gold Rush, orgasmic deli fare from When Harry Met Sally, the redemptive birthday cake in Sixteen Candles. In this cookbook, author Andrew Rea (of the hit YouTube channel “Binging with Babish”) recreates these iconic food scenes and many more. With recipes from more than 40 classic and cult films, Eat What You Watch is the perfect gift for both movie buffs and home cooks who want to add some cinematic flair to their cooking repertoire. CW: It was interesting what you said about Chef Thomas Keller working as the food consultant on Ratatoullle. Do a lot of movies and TV shows have a food consultant? If so, what about that niche industry surprised you as you research the book?Protein gives you the energy to get up and go—and keep going—while also supporting mood and cognitive function. Too much protein can be harmful to people with kidney disease, but the latest research suggests that many of us need more high-quality protein, especially as we age. That doesn't mean you have to eat more animal products—a variety of plant-based sources of protein each day can ensure your body gets all the essential protein it needs. Learn more » Throughout the history of movies and television, food has often been a central character and theme. In Binging With Babis, Andrew brings to life many of these iconic foods. From films like Night Fever and When Met Sally, and recipes from episodes of Adventure Time, The Office, and Twin Peaks. A: London, Greater London. We mainly operate events at Parlour, Kensal Green, and The Refinery, Citypoint, but are always looking to expand and find excitingly unique venues. Don’t hesitate to get in touch if wish to have us host an event at your venue. Focus on how you feel after eating. This will help foster healthy new habits and tastes. The healthier the food you eat, the better you'll feel after a meal. The more junk food you eat, the more likely you are to feel uncomfortable, nauseous, or drained of energy.

Eating a healthy diet is not about strict limitations, staying unrealistically thin, or depriving yourself of the foods you love. Rather, it’s about feeling great, having more energy, improving your health, and boosting your mood.

See the film, taste the film.

Calcium. As well as leading to osteoporosis, not getting enough calcium in your diet can also contribute to anxiety, depression, and sleep difficulties. Whatever your age or gender, it's vital to include calcium-rich foods in your diet, limit those that deplete calcium, and get enough magnesium and vitamins D and K to help calcium do its job. Learn more » AR: Those three recipes are all born of a deep passion for food. With the Tampopo ramen, in the movie they're examining it, breaking down every little element; they thank it and apologize to the pork. The ramen master is in that scene.

I guess I was wanting more things that you couldn't easily find somewhere else. Though that being said, Butterbeer is one of the recipes in this book and it's the only thing I actually ended up making. It was really, really good. I made it several times. I guess I was just wanting more things like that in this book? Q: Can we swap an item from one menu to the other? i.e. You have opted for the Vegan Menus but want the Standard dessert (that includes dairy). A: We do have one closed caption event per film experience, it will always be a Friday evening event. The boeuf bourguignon is from a movie about a woman who changes her entire life by paying attention to and enjoying the creation and eating of food and her connection with Julia Child, who revolutionized how we all cook at home.

AR: Food can and does play a major role in a lot of movies, and by role, I mean literally a character. Something with a personality, something that has an effect on the people around it, something that drives the story. More than that, it's something that we as audience members can directly relate to. It’s the most tangible and accessible piece of your favorite fictions and stories that you can experience yourself. That's what makes food so relatable and makes us crave it so much. With Jurassic Park, there's absolutely none of that movie that you can take home with you, except for a few choice recipes. Seeing the jellies on screen and the Chilean sea bass, these are things that you can actually try yourself. You can't run from dinosaurs, but you can try that.
