It lasted for three hours until it was a skin-scent and about 10 hours before it was quite difficult to detect on my skin. The sillage and projection were moderate but dropped within two hours. Personal Thoughts The Sillage is enormous. One splash is enough to cover all other scents when entering a room. So be careful in the office or small closed rooms. In an airplane, for example, this scent would be a reason for an emergency landing. Also a light acid was present but this is not citric but probably comes from incense or cannabis. But I can't say for sure. The woody aromatic base (oud?) Is identical but here you can feel tar-resinous notes that accompany that aromatic / manure scent. If in Stercus the manure disappears after a while, in BA it remains constant making the aromatic part darker. Some green notes barely hinted at during the first stages which then vanish during drying. Less elegant than Stercus, more casual. I see it more masculine than feminine but I think it depends on me, who associate certain scents with a man rather than a woman. What should I try first? First this one or this one? I was definitely overwhelmed, but knew that this woman had just opened a door for me, or rather, she had restructured my synapses. Because I was addicted from that point on. I just can't get enough of this woody resinous scent composition. I was right in the middle of it. Couldn't take my arm off my nose. Oud with such an intense, sweet and fruity aspect didn’t quite do it for me; I felt like it was too much of the same thing for too long! I was surprised that the oud didn’t shift more throughout the development of the scent. Available Sizes And yet, to be fair, what's going on in the later stages, despite it being overbearingly synthetic, is also quite interesting: after all, sandalwood masquerading as over-ripe agar burnt to cinders and putting on an Afghan mask (made of hemp?) is quite a feat to pull, and I don't begrudge any of its admirers - which is more than I can say about anyone who thinks they're being clever or edgy by liking Seminalis or Stercus. Ultimately, if you want an incense smell, try almost anything in Sorcinelli's UNUM collection (especially LAVS), and if you want smoke, head onto Beaufort (and especially Vi et Armis) - in any case it'd be a far more authentic and edgier experience, and that's with possibly the same range of synthetics to play with. The bottling was now there. The sky was cloudless that day. The promised demons had apparently got their act together on the way to me. The first sprayer was carried out without earthquake and without near-death experience. I noticed dark and woody scents which harmonized wonderfully with the warm nuances of the fragrance.

Even after showering you smell this dark and mysterious essence. For me, without a doubt, the strongest perfume in the world and an eternal placeholder in the top 5 of my best fragrances.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when I found the oud turned louder over the next two hours with a sweet, fruity element over smoke and spiced amber. The oud continued to be the strongest element in the composition through the drydown–it was rich, resinous, and somewhat animalic and musky. Five hours in, the drydown has slightly more of a smoky quality paired with the fruity sweetness and oud, which was still fairly intense in scent. Application For testing, I used 1/2 of a 0.7ml sample vial dabbed to the underside and topside of my wrist area on my left arm. I used an unscented moisturizer prior to applying the scent as this is also my swatching arm (aka, incredibly parched at any given moment) as I found scent did not hold well here otherwise.The fragrance aims to evoke the best quality of Hashish.
