Read all Awesome Little Green Men are the smallest miniature characters that are enormously hilarious! Make sure you empty the pack out properly, there are bits and pieces cleverly hidden in the packaging.

I’m also pleased to note that there are some female characters who kick ass just as hard as their male counterparts!

This fresh take on little green army men raises the bar by infusing battle and game play with 100 unique characters to collect in Series 1, including four super rare figures in the green army and the blue army. We were sent two packs from series 1 – one with some green men and in some with some blue men which made Jack giggle because of the name. It is very rare in collectible series to get a rare one on your first purchase,let alone two so Jack was very impressed.

The Awesome Little Green Men are indeed awesome and about half of them are green, the rest are blue. We were going to put them in the birthday or Christmas present list but after being offered the chance to review some, we couldn’t say no. As with all soldiers, each soldier came with their own dog tag which gave some information about them. Jack had great fun working out which recruits he had and setting them up in battle against each other – sometimes he pitted greens against blues, other times he mixed the colours up to change it up a little.The Battle Packs contain everything you need to start your mission (comes with eight soldiers (three in a vehicle), eight dog-tags, a new recruits poster and game guide). I love the fact that they are a little bit more fun than the usual green army men you can get and the collectible element makes it even more exciting – although it does mean another collection that Jack wants to complete! The figures are about 2 inches tall and are well made, they’re fun and although there is a specific game you can play with them, they’re just as much fun if you just battle with your friends. Each pint-sized character is a member of a special unit, all with seriously funny names such as Private Porkchop, Captain Obvi.

When we looked up the figures we had, we had mostly common ones but also had a couple of rare ones which was great and really excited Jack. Awesome Little Green Men is a new military collectible that combines blind-boxed soldiers and vehicles with a gameplay experience. The Awesome Little Green Men provided Jack with hours of fun and he can’t wait to have his friends round to play battles with him. Jack had seen the Awesome Little Green Men sets around quite a lot before we were sent some for review and had always said he was keen to get some.

However, when it came to it, the boys just wanted to play things their own way, complete with old school sound effects. There is a specific way to play the game – taking turns you march, attack, flick sliders to get hit points, each solider has a numerical value (printed on the bottom on the figure) and each player starts off with the same value of figures in their troop.
