As a student of Rainbow High, Sunny is an extremely talented and creative animator and artist. Befitting her interest, the characters she creates are usually adorable and highly stylized. After enrolling in the school, she modeled the characters in her animation projects after her friends. Jade co-starred with River as his romantic interest in Holly and Laurel's play “A Winter Tale of Two Super Beautiful Enchantresses”. She also thought he was cute when she first saw him in " Bring On Rainbow Cheer". December 8th, 2020: Rainbow High officially announces the Cheer Line updating it to include the Cheer Dolls as a part of the collection.

She is good friends with Ruby even though they have very different personalities. Although they aren't seemed to interact much, they do tend to get along together. They are roommates and seem to be very close with each other. They were both the most upset when Bella got expelled and the video of her went viral. While being close and stable friends, Skyler and Jade do not interact very much, but they show a great deal of respect for each other's talents and contributions. Jade had proven herself to be a levelheaded and reasonable person, as seen when she attempted to talk Bella out of sacrificing her future at Rainbow High for a potential internship. Despite her rough exterior, Jade also has a sensitive side- especially when it comes to her work. She's very protective of her work and can take critiques personally. She expresses her emotions openly and can't hide them when she's feeling hurt or frustrated. Fortunately, she doesn't take her frustrations out on her friends. Rather, she saves her anger for those she feels deserve it. Jade also has a somewhat guarded exterior - it seems to take a lot to gain her trust. Even though Violet and Ruby are seeing a new character. The heeled sandals featured in her secondary outfit are inspired by designs by Sophia Webster, whose various butterfly heels have become a signature of the company. True to her theme color, Sunny is by far the most cheerful and energetic. She's easily excitable and possesses a noteworthy love of all things cute or "kawaii" as she would put it. Though she can come off as high-strung and boisterous, Sunny simply has an expressive personality and a strong enthusiasm for the things she loves. She can be somewhat awkward in tense situations, but she's also highly sensitive to other people's emotions and will do what she can to alleviate the problem. Her parents are Rainbow High Alumni, though they have never been seen or more then slightly mentioned. At Rainbow High, students follow the G.L.A.M Squad, representing Grit, Love, Action, and Moxie! It’s all about being bold and creative rather than hiding in the shadows. The Rainbow High students are all about being the fashionistas of all dolls!CHEER STYLE: Series 1 character Sunny Madison now comes in a bright cheerleading outfit that reflects her happy personality. She also has cute pigtails and crimped hair with cute hair bows and barrettes. She is working on a makeup brand called "Look Up", the name referencing what she tells clients when she does their eye makeup

Just like Poppy and Daria, Rainbow Dream and Poppy connect strongly with their love of music, with all five of them working together on their Radiant Week project and even earning a special reward for it.Cheerleader Squad was the first theme-based line featuring previously introduced characters in themed outfits. While they weren't really seen together often, Jade did Robin's makeup for the Radiant Week project so it is assumed they know each other or are friends. They worked together for the Radiant Week project. Jett thought Jade's makeup skills were out of the world and so she "recruited" her for her group. Jade and Sunny, having completely different personalities, seem to get along pretty well. They may sometimes have different views but don't make that big of a deal about it.
