That's due to its uniq floral-woody freshness, wich evolves when really hot and humid, and our skin is usually a little wet, even this is not noticeable. Perfumes with natural ingredients often smell different in batches based on the source of the ingredients, while synthetic ingredients usually have consistency in their smell and lasts longer. A soapy, powdery spicy perfume that reminds me of a stylish person whith clean clothes and tidy hair. The first spray is sharp because of the ginger, but after a while softens into a fresh, clean, beautiful fragrance that stays all day long. I totally do not get people reviewing this as spicy, to me this is the ultimate Gourmand fragrance, very sweet, sugary, light, i hate to use the word chemical, but to me it is, on my skin it's like baby powder, even though it is a magical fragrance, i utterly love it.

I did wonder if it was akin to what the older generations of men wore, or wear now, but I think they are having a bit of a resurgence. Alfred Dunhill Pursuit Men EDT is a green note and woody cedar and spicy fragrance; Costume National Cyber Garden is a soft green, and woody fragrance, poor performance; Jacques Bogart Story Green is an affordable green and woody fragrance.

Many seem to associate this with baby powder,maybe so but fun fact,i have no idea how baby powder or babies smells like so. I haven't found anything similar unfortunately, so as long as I can find this, I will always treasure a bottle. The opening is unabashedly aromatic, with strong ginger and bergamot inducing a veritable wake-up effect.

At first, it smells much like Avon's vintage Hawaiian White Ginger, spicy yet clean and a bit powdery. Maybe it's because I'd just gotten home from a trip and hadn't eaten anything substantial since the night before, but wow did this perfume smell. A decent long-lasting fragrance that reminds me of the numerous Nautica colognes as well as Alfred Sung Hei. At first the ginger and bergamot are really refreshing, but it quickly mellows out and I really like this comforting scent.it used to be my special perfume, my going somewhere special perfume as i couldn't afford to use it too often.

Its a safe fragrance and suitable for almost all seasons but unfortunately it has been discontinued! I strongly agree with you, because I purchased it 3 years ago and the performance was horrible on my dry skin, so I convinced a friend of mine to try it and he has a normal skin, once again the performance was a thumbs down. And to close the door with a golden key, we have a delicious and balanced mix of sandalwood with vetiver, in the base. This is the bougie rich older sister that lives in Malibu and you are meeting for a dinner at sunset.

On me, it's rather linear, from the beginning till the end, it smells powdery with a hint of citrus.

BLV is a real pleasure to wear and congers up memories of lounging pool side and staring straight at a clear blue sky. It inspired me to try other Bvlgari fragrances but remains one of my favorites, along with Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir, Black, and Aqva.When this juice dries down, I get a hint of Yves Saint Laurent's L'homme minus the creaminess and citrusness. And now its also similar to the female version- Bvlgari BLV pour femme (the very first BLV which also I own). Bulgari BLU is a unique, subtle floral fragrance somewhat surprisingly anchored in aromatics, not musk or sandalwood, as one might have expected, at least from looking at the notes. anyways, i never liked it and i would never recommend this cologne to anyone, unless you like to smell like tide detergent. The overall dna scent is absolutely pleasant but unfortunately can be considered unisex which this is undesired from my perspective.
