The touchscreen seems to respond about 60% of the time, and anything involving writing on it was an exercise in torture. I've used some dodgy screens in the past, but they usually registered key presses consistently, whereas this seemed to consider registering them as optional. As an asides, it was interesting to see what messages turned into courtesy of missing letters and the autocorrect.

The lay out of the physical buttons feels wrong as well. I'm right handed so hold the phone in my left, but they've stupidly put the power button where my thumb would be. The problem is there's very little physical resistance so whenever I used the phone I needed to be really careful to avoid it, because even just a gentle twitch of the thumb would close the screen. This meant holding the lower half of the device, which is less secure grip wise, and it didn't feel natural because the phone wasn't fully supported by my hand.
