The balance of the tool when an attachment is in place is pretty good, though it is still a little heavy (I put this down to the build quality) and takes a bit of practice getting in the swing of using it. The only little hiccup I have found is that for me the handle attachment fits a little too low down on the shaft for my liking and clipping yourself to the shoulder strap takes practice.
