Anyway, with these three components in mind, we can create any colour! So what about skin colour? Different skin colours

This set of pencils will be more vivid than the Coloursoft Pencils. This can be a good thing or a bad thing. Under the right control, this can allow you to build up your desired skin color with minimal effort or application pressure. However, under a heavy hand, it can result in skin tones that are too vivid to the point that they do not look realistic (or perhaps make it look like a bad sunburn!). NOTE: I’ve received some nasty comments saying I’m excluding dark skin tones. If you read the article you can see that the specific colored pencils used here are too light to create dark tones. Use darker primaries if you want darker tones or read here how to create any shade of skin tone you want. Magenta, yellow and cyan are very similar to red, yellow and blue. The main reason I’m going for MYC is because they are lighter in value. Meaning it’s a lot easier for them to create vibrant light colours, whereas if you would use regular RYB it would be harder to achieve that. The outcome of these colours would result in darker values. You could add white, but you’d have to add a lot. Pencils are already a slow medium to work with so this would only add to the time. Warm VS cool colours

I haven’t used Coloursoft, but do have a set of Derwent Watercolour pencils and they lay down color very much like Prismacolor.

You can intuitively see the color of each marker. And it's convenient to get the color you want when you're creating. It’s been just over a year Antonella – could we please get the names of the colors used, please? I mean, I have to agree with all the feelings of frustration above me. Sigh. I am in such need of a skin tutorial that makes easy sense. Thank you for trying Reply And you are done. This is the easiest way (as far as I am aware of) to create beautiful, realistic skin tones.
