The author of several books, including The Book of Stones, The Alchemy of Stones and Stones of the New Consciousness, he lives in New Zealand. Although I enjoyed the overall plot of the book I found there to be little character development which caused me to become unattached to any character.

He dies a great job at developing the suspense, the mystery surrounding the haunting and some genuinely spooky scenes.
