Description

Preparations containing docusate sodium are sometimes used to clear the bowel before some medical examinations. When it is used like this, you will be provided with a supply and full instructions for use from your hospital or clinic.

This dual-action is effective to relieve constipation without straining. DulcoEase usually alleviates constipation in one to two days. Liquid – this comes with a plastic cup or spoon to measure the dose. Do not use a kitchen spoon as it will not give the right amount. If you do not have a cup or spoon, ask your pharmacist for one. When you've swallowed it, drink plenty of water or have another drink, such as milk or orange juice. Do not increase your dose or take this drug more often or for longer than directed. Your condition will not improve any faster, and your risk of side effects will increase. Swallow the whole capsule with a glass of water. Do not chew or break open and empty the contents of the capsule. DulcoEase can be taken either with or without food.Prolonged, excessive use of laxatives can lead to diarrhoea, low potassium levels in the blood (hypokalaemia) and an imbalance in the amount of fluid and salts (electrolytes) in the body. Prolonged, excessive use may also make the constipation worse in the long-term, as the gut can become reliant on the laxative. Don't exceed the recommended dose of DulcoEase or use it for more than five days unless advised to by your doctor. A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/ tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing. Once the initial Dulcoease 100mg Capsules Dosage has been taken, you should start to feel more comfortable within 1 to 2 days of treatment.

It’s difficult to know which particular laxative type will work better for an individual. Each of the 4 types will have to be used before the one best suited for that particular person is found. Dulcoease 100 Mg Capsules If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, you can try to treat constipation without taking a medicine. This involves eating more fibre and drinking plenty of fluids. It may also help to do gentle exercise. Known as a laxative, Dulcoease Soft Gel Capsules helps soften the poo and makes bowel movements easier if you’re experiencing constipation. Whatever the cause, constipation can be uncomfortable. It may make you feel bloated and heavy or generally ‘off colour’. Sometimes it causes headaches.

If you suspect that your constipation is brought on from a medicine you are taking, speak to your doctor. You should not stop taking a medicine your doctor has prescribed for you without explicit permission.

The dual action is effective at relieving constipation without straining. The capsules usually relieve constipation in one to two days.Prolonged use of DulcoEase should be avoided. If you are still constipated after five days of treatment, if you need to take a laxative every day, or if you have persistent abdominal pain, you should consult your doctor for advice.

Acne Acne is a common skin condition that affects most people at some point. It causes spots, oily skin and sometimes skin that’s hot or painful to touch. Acne most commonly develops on the face. Docusate sodium may pass into breast milk so should be used with caution during breastfeeding. As with all medicines, you should get medical advice from your doctor before taking DulcoEase if you are breastfeeding. You should not take DulcoEase with laxatives containing liquid paraffin (mineral oil). What other medicines contain docusate sodium? However, many people take laxatives when they do not need to because they believe that they are constipated unless they go to the toilet every day. This is not the case. A useful definition of constipation is going to the toilet less frequently than is normal for you, and passing hard stools (faeces) when you do go. Each of the Dulcoease Capsules have a dual action effect whereby stools are softened and the bowel is stimulated to help promote bowel movement. They can be taken for temporary or chronic constipation.Soften the stools in people who have haemorrhoids (piles) or a tear in the lining of the anus (anal fissure) by reducing straining and helps to pass the stools easily. Acid Reflux Heartburn is a burning feeling in the chest caused by stomach acid travelling up towards the throat (acid reflux). If it keeps happening, it’s called gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD). If docusate sodium liquid medicine has been prescribed for your child, carefully follow the instructions you are given by your doctor, as the dose will be adjusted according to their age and needs. Do not give docusate sodium to a child unless a doctor has prescribed it. You should go straight to the hospital if you have difficulty in breathing, start to look flushed, or have any other symptom that you think might mean you’re having a serious allergic reaction.
