As an exhausted mom to 3 beautiful boys aged 5-11, Keep Up With the Jones Family began as a family blog and turned into my passion. You see, as an incurably hopeless, wish-upon-a-star daydreamer, when my first baby boy came into my life, I swiftly realised that being the parent you thought you would be, and creating family memories to treasure in the way you imagined before your baby was born [and keeping you awake all night] is a real challenge. Manufactured to BRIO's high standards and from FSC Certified wood, this is ideal for developing hand-eye coordination and honing fine motor skills. Don’t get me wrong it’s beautiful quality snd looks lovely, but for what it is, it’s very expensive and hasn’t got a huge amount of scope for play.

The fact they can visit lots of imaginary places before we do get away for our first holiday abroad has really brought this play piece to life. We took them both on holiday in case there was a rainy day [there was] and we needed something to keep us busy. Hero was lucky enough to also review another Brio set at the same time and so we connected the two as you can probably see in the photographs.This set has a terminal complete with control tower to spot all the activity, a beautiful red airplane which is really solidly made and which wheels along very smoothly preparing for take-off, plus a complete baggage handling system with two airport staff figures. We’ve discussed each part of the set – we’ve talked about walking on to the plane via the wheeled steps, just as we did when we were away. We’re proud to say that all wood used in our toys is from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified sources. We were convinced it would be ruined but instead when we washed it off, it dried perfectly without swelling and we were all impressed.
