Like all liquid lipsticks these don’t like anything with oil in, so greasy food is a no no with these! Barry M's Matte Me Up Liquid Lipstick Pinksplosion gives you a matte finish with intense colour payoff. The last time I went to London I snatched a single liquid matte lipstick from Barry M in the shade Pop Up and OMG… it’s one of my best liquid matte lipsticks ! Alternatively, the driver may try again on the following working day if they feel there is no suitable safe place to leave your parcel. When I saw these I just knew I had to try them out; there is nothing I love more than a new lipstick.

I swatched all three shades to see what they were like and ended up falling in love with the one shade, Runway. I went to London last month (I live in France so it’s kind of impossible to find Barry M over here except over the Internet) and I found these in a Superdrug… OMG. The lip liner is smooth and creamy to apply, doesn’t drag and gives a great definition with no bleeding around the lips into any lip lines. You may have already seen the lip kit duos I wrote about a couple of weeks ago, and these are five extra shades of the liquid lipstick that you can round out your collection with.Long-lasting and non-drying, the formulas feel comfortable on lips and leave behind a vivid, vibrant and salon-worthy finish. Onto the texture of the products, the lip liner goes onto the lips easy enough and it’s a good middle ground between creamy and dry. I’ll be honest I’m not overly impressed with the shade selection, I really don’t like brown lips and so many of the shades pull exceptionally nude or very brown toned so if Runway hadn’t been in this selection I probably wouldn’t have bothered with these. The rich pigment and long-lasting formula make this lip kit perfect for creating a bold and confident look.

Majority of the time I won’t dip back into the tube to get more product, but if I do it’s because I just want to. With this product there’s neither, we have the full matte finish and you can still press your lips together, move them and not have to worry, it’s a comfortable matte which is exactly what I want.They don’t smudge easily and due to this they’re just as hard to remove with make up removers, UNLESS they contain oil! Having said that Runway is a beautiful shade, I also really like how similar the lip liner and liquid lipstick are. This is a more runny formula than something like a lip cream however, once it dries down it sets fully matte. Worn on it’s own there’s minimal transfer and it feels comfortable for a few hours before the lips feel a little dry. I think I’ve got nothing by Barry M but a lipgloss that someone gave me as a present lol, but I got the Pop Up shade and I’m in LOVE !

I’ve had this with liquid lipsticks in the past and they’ve caused my lips to be really sore during wear and when removing. I’m a massive fan of my darker shades so this is a lovely shade to opt down to if I don’t want anything dark, but nothing too light either. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. A few years ago I ended up getting a gift with purchase of a glittery red lipgloss from Barry M and it was quite possibly the best lip gloss that has ever existed. I found the formula of the lipstick to be lightweight and thin, which worried me when I first started to apply it as I thought it might not go on completely opaque but my doubts were unfounded.This matches the colour of Runway perfectly and is one I’ll be using with other lipsticks, both normal and liquid. The formula is light as air, it sets down to a completely matte finish very quickly, doesn’t dry out the lips, and you can top up without any flaking or peeling.
