Standard pins are untreated and will rust when exposed to the elements. Although the pins may become rusty this will not affect the longevity of the pins. Standard pins are untreated steel and may rust when exposed to the elements - however, please note that this rust will not affect the life expectancy of the pins Electroplated pins are fully protected galvanised steel which will help protect the pins against rust.

To be used at 4 - 5m intervals and is treaded through the mesh and secured on to the hook at the top of the pin. If you want a really secure fence we reccomend use every 2.5m with large top hook, ribbed surface and hardened tips with plastic safety cover. Painted for durability. Use with warning tape, rope or barricade fencing to fence off building work and other 'off limits' areas. Each of our fencing pins are pointed and can be easily driven into soft ground. They also have a hook on the top of the fencing pin, allowing you to easily hand a netting or fencing barrier off them. Once the fence pins have driven into the ground you can simply connect the orange plastic mesh barrier fence netting using the hooks on the fence pins. This orange mesh netting is highly visible, making it a good temporary barrier & comes in 50m roles, making it very easy to install. In manufacturing our fencing pins we use high tensile ribbed reinforcing bar to British Standard 4449:2005 Grade: B500 B/C. The steel fencing road pins have a "shepherds crook" top to them to make it easy to attach the top of the barrier mesh fencing, barrier tape or rope to the pin.
