I recently noticed that Kitsch bars are advertised as being silicone-free so decided to take another look. Even though the most common ones are non-toxic substances (not all of them are), the bars I review and recommend, do not contain silicones. The main complaint was a few people saying their hair was dry when they didn’t use a conditioner afterwards.

They go on smoothly, produce nice foam and I definitely noticed a difference in the look and feel of my hair afterwards. Including silicone in the same bar as shampoo means it’s never getting washed out and continues to build up on the hair.Edit: Kitsch reached out, apologized, and sent a replacement clip. They said it was a new team member who did not feel confident sending a replacement. I appreciated the follow-up and hopefully in the future their customer service team will read the entire thread of messages before responding (especially when responding in the negative). Revised to 4 stars because I like their products and hopefully this one will last longer. All's well that ends well.
