Once set the glitter is even more obvious with a shimmering sparkle visible throughout the strawberry flavoured jelly. The darkness of the Jelly does mean that it’s arguably not as glittery as the other two flavours and it actually tastes similar to a Blue Raspberry Slush Puppy, obviously without the ice. Not long after our box arrived it was James’ 7th birthday – the perfect excuse for a party if ever there was one. Inside there was some of Hartley’s new Mixed Berry Glitter Jelly, a jelly mould, party hats, streamers and a few other bits. It's so fine that there isn't any texture to the glitter, no gritty feeling at all, it's more of a shimmer. The new Mixed Berry Glitter Jelly from Hartley’s therefore made me happy, it made me smile, the way edible glitter should. The heart didn't come out perfectly (the bottoms didn't seem to be set perfectly despite being in the fridge - they are now in the freezer for drinks).
