We only use vegan friendly fragrance oils, and of course they are cruelty free! We wouldn't have it any other way. As there is a higher oil content to make them last longer, with ALL perfumes, not just The Essence Vaults's perfumes, we do recommend that you take care when applying on clothes, and of course you do so at your own risk.

Smells like bandaids and whale vomit. Dry's down to that pasty layer of scunch from the bottom of a downtown dumpster. There is something so luxurious and special about having the original. Bottles are beautiful and the scent is magical. If you've fallen for it head over heels then you should get it. I always recommend to save up and get what you've fallen for instead of choosing a similar one to save money. You'll always be craving the one you truly want so it's better to be patient and get your love and not settle. What remains is a skin smell. It does last for hours and hours, which is great! But I miss the sweetness and I expected a bit more sillage as well. I bought the 6.7 oz bottle. This isn’t just a scent—it’s a gift from a higher power. If you want to feel rich, ooze decadence, and enjoy hearing how great you smell, you deserve this. I’m neither fishing for compliments or admiration, nor am I rich… but who has to know?They became more different after a minute. The burned sugar note is more prominent with the extrait. The extrait is noticeably warmer and sweeter, while the EDP is more airy and cooler. I noticed the so called “hospital” or “dentist’s office” or “latex gloves” note. I personally think it’s actually a lovely scent.

With this "Rouge 540", I learned how a name that would fit very well with a model of any Ferrari car, plus the extra load given by the title "Extrait", raises the expectations of any perfume. After so many comments from my "perfume friends", I decided to give it a go with a test. the ambergris combined w the musk is such a match made in heaven and has inspired hundreds of fragrances since. MFK was really in his bag when he made this! the dash of saffron was genius too. it adds a hint of spice but it doesn’t overpower the fragrance. the almond isn’t a powdery playdoh almond, it isn’t a cherry almond, it’s just lovely! i wouldn’t even call this scent nutty or spicy, and thats a testament to how well the notes are blended here. I just can't get enough of this scent, it is such a majestic & elegant scent that makes me feel so good about myself. I can appreciate that some people where frags for themselves, and aren't interested in what other people think, but I mean come on people - set some boundaries. Value for money (is a point of contention among those who own it, but I feel like it's worth it for me)BR540 Extrait is beautiful. In no way, shape or form am I calling it cheap by likening it to Cloud. I'm more so saying that Cloud was well executed. I won't go into details about what BR540 Extrait smells like, as many people have done a superb job of that already, but it is indeed a work of art. You may or may not like it, but both BR540 Eau de Parfum and BR540 Eau de Parfum Extrait were groundbreaking when they first came out. And I heavily dislike the Eau de Parfum, the latex/dentist smell overpowers it completely but the perfect harmony was found the Extrait. But I still recognise the impact they've had on the fragrance world and I respect the work behind them.
