Description

Using the Signals to detect temperature variation at different points on the grill Probes placed to measure middle and left and right sides of the grill The Masterbuilt Gravity Series 560 Digital Charcoal Grill and Smoker helps redefine charcoal cooking creating the ability to smoke, grill, sear, bake, and roast with it's innovative GravityFed™ charcoal hopper holding over 12 hours of lumpwood charcoal or briquettes with it's gravity feed ensuring the constant addition of fuel to the fire. There is no need to remove any charcoal after each use.

The MasterbuiltGravity Series 560 Digital Charcoal Grill + Smoker lets you smoke, grill, sear, bake, roast and so much more. Set the temperature on the digital control panel or your smart device and the DigitalFan™ maintains the desired cooking temperature. The GravityFed™ charcoal hopper holds over 12 hours of charcoal and gravity ensures you have constant fuel to the fire. By using these two methods, you can smoke when and how much you want. With the first-mentioned method, you can also smoke at higher temperatures. Which just isn’t possible with a lot of other smokers. If you’re going to barbecue low and slow but want less smoke, that’s possible too. No smoke at all is, of course, not likely. There is always some smoke coming from the charcoal. And lots of smoke when the charcoal is damp Your Masterbuilt is covered by a 2 year manufactures warranty. But buying from ProSmoke means we deal with any issues in partnership with the manufacturer, so you are not on your own, that's why we are the only Platinum dealer in the UK. Now that we have used the smoker longer, we thought it was time for a more extensive conclusion. If you don’t feel like reading everything, we can already tell you here. We are still impressed with this smoker and have a few areas for improvement. Assembling the Masterbuilt smokerAs the Gravity Series’ “Grill + Smoker” name implies, this cooker is far more than just a hot & fast charcoal grill. It is also a great low & slow smoker! Baking and roasting isn’t out of the question either, and with the cooking temperature being controlled by a digital control panel, the sky’s the limit. Temperature Range: I’ve heard from some other reviewers that have had defective fans, after a decent amount of use I haven’t experienced that yet but it’s something to keep an eye on.

There's an app for that! Set it and go with your smart device. Learn to master the art of smoking, grilling and more with the Masterbuilt App. While the control panel works well, I found the display’s glossy screen somewhat hard to read outdoors in bright sunlight. It seems no matter how I had the cooker positioned there was a glare. It’s much easier to read in early morning, evening, and cloudy conditions. Masterbuilt has blazed a new trail with their Gravity Series 560 Digital Charcoal Grill + Smoker. A one-of-a-kind machine, the Gravity Series marries the ease of thermostatic control (as in your home oven or pellet smoker) with the smoky flavor you expect from cooking with charcoal and wood chunks. You can connect this cooker to your smart device via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi for remote monitoring and control, or ignore that technology altogether since it’s not required for operation. We haven’t seen anything quite like the Gravity Series, and we want to love it despite its flaws!

You have a digital control panel that lets you set your exact temperature between 225 – 700°F. The control panel connects to an app for remote control. The digital control panel includes room for up to four meat probes. The middle level is approximately 12 inches deep, while the top level measures around 8 inches deep. Food Capacity:

The bottom and largest level measures about 18 inches deep by 28 inches wide. (That’s an additional 3 inches in depth and 6 inches in width from the 560 model).By the way, it doesn’t matter what you feed the Masterbuilt 560 smoker. It accepts charcoal as well as briquettes as long as they are bigger pieces without too much grit. If you like to use tube briquettes, make sure you put them upright so that the oxygen can pass through. Smoking on the Masterbuilt 560 In mid-2019, we were surprised at the Spoga with the Masterbuilt 560 gravity fed smoker. It worked according to the gravity-fed mechanism in which a hopper of glowing charcoal gives off its heat to a kettle. It’s a so-called offset smoker but one that you do not have to adjust or keep an eye on. Gravity-fed smokers have been used for years by, especially American professionals in restaurants and barbecue competitions.
