The rubber prevents damage to one of the most vulnerable areas on an inflatable SUP, and it’s a great feature to include on a board like this as many beginners tend to be harder on their gear.

Having said that, this board is a ton of fun on the water and would be a great choice if you’re interested in recreational paddling and general family fun.
