Also add up to 1/4 cup of water here if you want a more stretchy slime. Biotrue utilises hyaluronan as its wetting agent to increase/stabilise the tear film, much in the same way that some eye drops for dry eyes do. Whilst Opti-Free Puremoist uses HydraGlyde Moisture Matrix which adds moisture and comfort to the lens. It’s worth noting that HydraGlyde is the same wetting agent in Air optix, so this solution is more suited to that lens material. The disinfecting agents within these solutions are also different, although both are effective whilst being gentle on the eyes. This is something to consider when choosing between these products.
